New dude, getting into Mechanical keyboards!
« on: Sun, 05 August 2012, 09:20:32 »
Just thought I'd stop by and say Hello! I just recently sold my Logitech MX5500 to a friend, and decided this was a good chance to get into mechanical keyboards! Just created an account to lurk and hopefully join in some discussion, maybe even get into some of the sweet Classified action.

Thanks!

Hmmm, a lot, maybe, but there's no way I'd be able to spend ALL of it, is there? :P

Thanks for the links!

Also, am I missing something, or is there not a way to Multi-quote on this board? I had to open each "reply" in tabs, then copy/paste... I didn't want to reply to every.single.post as that might come off as a bit spammy.

Oh and just as an update, I bought a Filco Majestouch-2 with browns and a Mionix NAOS 5000 mouse. It'll take some getting used to not having wireless stuff, but I'm sure the benefits will outweigh the small inconvenience :DD

Ahhh wasn't too sure. Some boards get picky if you double post, I didn't want to ruffle any feathers, being the n00b and all.

I've managed to keep my other hobbies in check (photography seems to be a bit more expensive than keyboards...but who knows) enough to not cause a divorce, so we'll see how well I do at keeping my wallet where it belongs :P

If it weren't for the fact that I'm in a crappy place to receive photo gear right now (Afghanistan) I'd probably have ordered quite a bit more stuff. As it stands now, all my photo gear is at home. I brought my 5D, 24-70, 70-200 F4 and a few other things, but the camera and glass didn't enjoy living out here. With all the moving around and stuff, I had to take all that stuff to be serviced by Canon. So, after it was serviced, I just left it at home.

Not this time around, but yes, I am aware. I mean, shipping a flat rate box still costs the same, but from all the way over here.
