Tired of looking at those boring logos on your keyboard? How would you like to replace that ugly Rosewill or CMStorm logo with a custom keyboard badge to show your support of your favorite keyboard enthusiast forum?

Price is only $8 shipped ($9 international). All profits from this sale above my actual costs will be donated to Geekhack (minimum $1 per badge will be donated).

This badge will fit between the cursor arrows and 6-pack on a TKL, or above the status LEDs on a 104-key. Adhesive backed, for easy application.

So can we get an accurate description of what I'm seeing? Is that a ~1.5mm thick chunk of plastic with black surface, white interior that is engraved w/ 'geekhack' ?

Yes, it's about 1.5mm thick, black surface on white substrate plastic. Engraved "geekhack" text. Beveled edges.

Lead time is minimal, but I will place the orders in batches (probably weekly), so the engraving shop is not making 2-3 badges every day. I will leave orders open as long as orders keep coming in. Once interest wanes, I will close orders until I have another sizable batch to run.

I don't have a Leopold to measure it, but I think it might cover the status LEDs. Approximate dimensions are 2-1/4" by 5/8".

It's the paper backing of the adhesive. I will ensure there is no excess before I ship any out. This is just a prototype/sample.

I'll join when you can make it smaller with transparent background like this one (from Leopold Korea) so I can put it in front of my Filco and various other boards.

Why would you want your Filco to say Leopold??

I'm pretty sure someone else is looking into those style badges (mkawa, DanGWanG). I just wanted something in the interim, so I found a way to make these happen.

Just an update for you guys. I am hoping to ship out the keyboard badges this week sometime. I placed an order with the engraving shop, but apparently a few customers placed large orders (1100, 500, and 400) while I was taking our orders. It's a very small operation and they are overwhelmed at the moment. I will keep everyone updated as I know more.

Yes, I'm sorry it took so long. I just received the first (and probably only) batch of these from the engravers. I will get these all sent out on Monday to those who ordered them.
