These puns have gone flat.  '-'

Budweiser is really good, the original one in Czech, not the American one. I kind of like the Oktoberfest keycap, but oem profile always ruins it. Why oem CC? Why can't you make a special edition in Cherry? Why?
Doesn't OEM mean original equipment manufacturer? So if he were selling these in cherry profiles then they would be compatible with cherry OEM keys, right? I think people are confusing the term OEM to mean Filco and Leo. He still makes keys that are more compatible with cherry profiles. At least I think he still does. I never saw them on EK but I have many cherry-like keys from clickclack. The skulls, bunnies (leap, squat, snuggle, flop), ocean, Hi-Tex, etc. I know for a fact though that at the time there was very little demand for those profiles. I think the skulls were all cherry profile originally.

Any way, lovin the "oktoberfest" keys!

cheers

In the keycap world, OEM is a profile. Cherry is another profile. OEM is a bit taller than cherry profile.

Ah, I get it, it's a misnomer.

When we used to say Cherry OEM keys it mean the keys originally provided by Cherry. Must be recently that we switched (haahaa) it up.
That's cool, now I feel back in the loop.

I seem to get punished for doing good, first I miss out on an item in an earlier auction due to being out collecting donations for a good cause, now I should go to bed as I have to take the donations to the organisation today. Wahh. Why do you do this to me, Geekhack.

Well that's me off to bed. As much as I want one.. especially the one that contains 2 colors and a skull (hint hint) I can't let down the organisation by not being able to show up due to having not slept. So I guess if I miss out, I miss out for a good cause.

I'm pretty sure putting up all the info and pics early is of benefit to many who would normally miss out. May make it easier for EK to put it all up, too, but may cause some oversales and more work cancelling out orders on the back end.

Calling it "torture" or a "nightmare" is a bit over-dramatic.
