Complain about Korean Keyboard ^_^
« on: Sun, 11 November 2012, 20:45:16 »
I want to build more of these! I am getting John's KMAC Mini in the mail tomorrow, so if anyone wants to let me build theirs, I'd be glad to!
I built this today MYSELF!  Thanks to mistakemistake for all the tips, video walkthrough and soldering station :)  Also, LEDs aren't installed yet...waiting on my shipment from China
So I take that you enjoyed building it YOURSELF? Good for you Dan!

My first build. Got everything right except for one diode backwards.  ;D

Ergo Clears, stickered and lubed and waiting for a nice set of Sanctuary caps.

This ones for you boost !

Damnnn. Looks sweet. Mad jelly :))

That's a MX mini.

Yep. LZ-mini

No thats an mx mini in an LZ case.

Shouldn't take away from the name seeing as LZ didn't do anything on the
Pcb and only made the case.
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

Those are the 456 series, they are released (I think) and are not the same as the 356 series, but nonetheless a boutique board. :D

Sadly, not even money can buy you one. They only made them for OTD members, and selling one blacklists you from future participation in group buys.

So you would have a chance if a member wanted to sell his and didn't care about being a part of the OTD community. Highly improbably, but you never know. Here's to having hope :P

Bleh, Thats too bad, the keyboards really have a finesse to them.. The only i found similar to them was the phantom group buy, and I missed that opportunity =/

LZ makes very nice, and comparable cases. You have a much better chance at getting one of them.

What boards fit in a lz case? Filco tkl? Ducky tkl? Or just custom pcbs?

Custom PCB's from Korea. So MX Mini PCB fits the LZ Mini case. I believe the other cases fit A87 PCB's, which are fairly common and easy to get.

you'll also pay about as much (if not more) for just a case than a full kit.

True, but most PCB's don't cost much anyways.

How much do you suppose the 356CL Dark Grey kit was when they ran the GB? I think 356 cases are made particularly well, and have cool stuff like brass plate inserts and other neat things.

is there a markup though? i was being pedantic but really, i think there is either very low or no profit on the boards. so retail would be cost.

i really don't give a **** about you enough to mock you, so i hate to break your fragile little heart.

i asked you a question. a good photographer can make just about anything look good.

are LZ cases good looking? yeah. are they better than others? i dont know, i don't own one. and neither do you. if dan said it then i wouldnt have said anything to him seeing as he owns multiple case.

so calm down princess.
