I'm up for another meet whenever, spring, summer it's cool. Just make sure we have room... sushi place was much smaller than I expected, and we're not exactly gonna have a board room to chill in.

Also, another pic of cupcakes. too bad tsangan didn't get one. Hope people liked them... I helped and it was a lot of work

Yeah sorry this is the first time I'm doing this type of events, maybe next time we'll just rent a boardroom or something and have keyboard / food / drinks there and just chill out for 5-6 hours that might be a bit easier

Sorry dude I thought people would be up for more stuff after but I guess it was too cold (-10 degrees) and I think some people travel from out of town so they can't stick around too late. Next time we'll probably plan it in the summer/fall when it's a nicer weather and I'm aim for weekends or something so everyone can be happy lol.

Thanks to all who came -- especially to Hyde for organizing it, to Sifo's gf for baking cupcakes, and to all who brought keyboards to show!

We were pleasantly surprised at how big the turnout was. The questions and feedback were great, and the time just seemed to fly by. I also really enjoyed trying out all the old school keyboards. Some of them felt really great, despite their age.

LOL ok I've finally done blurring out people's faces for those that want to remain mysterious. Man I almost felt like I was making Japanese Porn DVD Covers.

I was debating to upload it to another picture site to make things easier but I ultimately decide to just upload it here so it's easier for people to see.

Hey folks - had a wild time - if you didn't get enough of my random blather then stop by the irc some time - heck, stop by anyway - maybe I'll be asleep or summat. ;p

That said - thanks to Hyde for all the work in pulling this together and being generally awesome folks. No worries on the blurring, really I'm cool with folks knowing what I look like, I'm just enjoying the facebook/google/etc... DB not having matched me to a set of images yet. :}

Sifo & SO: thanks for cupcakes! And your beast is beautiful and feels awesome - it was the best feeling cherry board I've met so far.. please remind me what you did to those clears - black springs? and something?

It was great to meet people in person, too bad so many of us were from 'near TO', would be awesome to do such more often. :}
I'll certainly be easy to convince to come out next time.

LZ - S was clear stems and black springs. Filco had lube, clear stems, and blue springs.

My LZ - S has 62g gold springs and lube now, I'd say it feels even better. Would have brought it to the meet, but I had to pick the parts up during the meet so that wasn't possible
