Loving those final numbers, now I regret not ordering more.
And so drawing on my fine command of language, I said nothing.

Repost: DCS 7 units spacebars

We had confirmation that DCS 7 units and DSA 7 units spacebars have the same mounting points, hence all DCS 7-units will be converted to DSA 7-units. There's no reason to get the DCS one. If you ordered both spacebars because you didn't know which one to take, you can leave the DCS. Remember that you can still modify your order.

Realistically GBs are as fast as the people interested and able to place an order.  Traditionally the major slow downs were caused by not understanding what was in a set, how to place an order, and many questions in regard to "when" for every little step.

Matt3o's order system has destroyed those boundaries and made it very easy to progress this GB to the point that it should be closed in order to not over burden the guy stuck packing and shipping these sets out.

Fortunately this was a very popular GB that will almost certainly have extras. Also, I believe some of the vendors took a few sets, so I am sure people who missed out this time won't be left out entirely.

the speed of the GB also attracted many vendors I believe

Right because the point of a group buy is so people who get left out have to pay more for it from a vendor

Well... no one was intentionally left out, they just missed the boat.

Better than missing the GB all together or buying from a forum member (making the safe assumption that a forum member would charge a markup as well)

To be fair to matt3o, there were several days of notice leading up to the group buy opening. It wasn't a sudden, "BETTER ORDER NOW!" kind of thing. At any rate, based on the success of this buy, I'd expect others very similar to it in the future.

the GB has been extremely successful in a very short time. Please don't forget that there are people working for free on the GB organization. We would have liked to add more colors, more kits, more blanks, ... if this were my day job I would have added all colors and kept it open longer.

Hm, I kinda feel like back when Red Alert orders closed and I didnt have the funds to be a part....
This set looks really awesome, wish I had money to participate.

Hope there's gonna be a Round 2 of these one day, cause imo, these won't ever appear in the classifieds :D
And much respect for handling this GB, really like the straight forward way this was done.

I'm getting away from SP sets. You might see a CC&G and a graphite set hit the FS section

I mean I *WISHED* I had missed it... unfortunately I bought a 2 or 3 sets.  I don't even pretend to understand what all is going on with that.

Yeah I had to avoid that one simply because it became more confusing as time went on.  It was like you were thrown into a mirror room looking for a way out but all you see is your stupid self thumbling around trying to understand what was happening.

As soon as a Group Buy starts to get complicated and confusing, unfortunately it would be the time to bail.

yep, +1 ^

How long has Round 4 been going on now?  18+ months?  And there is no end in sight.  And I seem to be the only one who is tired of waiting, besides maybe AKIMbO above.

As for a pyramid scheme, I guess it is a bit, since non-existent orders are being sold and then re-sold to ever more hopeful nubs.

Yep, and it makes you feel like a **** if you ask for the status.  But seriously, I'm surprised more people aren't showing concern over someone that has had maybe $100+ of your money for 18 months or whatever it's been. :)  But, getting off topic... thanks for doing it the way you did Matt3o!

Dear US residents

Many of the American orders do not have the country in the address field!

If you don't add the country you pay international shipping!

I will not add it for you. The order form says "remember the country!", that's also true for US residents.

F*&%#K YEAH!

UPDATE

I've been able to update the country by checking the US State. You just need to double check your address, just in case.
