1372 Guests, 632 Users (1 Buddy, 58 Hidden). what is normal user load?

That's a really good question. Isn't here a service that would show that? Like I thought you could check that on say your Amazon AWS settings if you have something hosted on their servers? Or maybe one of the admins has access to that? I honestly don't know.

I check this a lot

during peak hours, I see about 1700 users on, during late night hours, generally 1k to 1.3k

During CC sales it tends towards the 2k/2.1k numeral

The peak users (three-thousand something) happened on a totally random day.

While your on this subject, in the breakdown e.g. 1372 Guests, 632 Users (1 Buddy, 58 Hidden). What are the Hidden and Buddy's?

hidden users are users that checked "hide my session this time" when they logged in. I'm not 100% sure that that's what the box says but it's close enough

Buddies are users on your buddy list

I found some user manuals:

One of which told me they should have 2KRO. I couldn't find anything specific that says what exact switch they are...but Dorkvader has this TI 911 Video Terminal and perhaps he could tell you what switches are in those pictures. Perhaps they're the same switch?

I was totally going to guess hall effect and no one ever told me the model name.

I'd love to have a full 700 setup, that little thermo paper printer and the keyboard is so cute.

That ti 911 video terminal is horrible to type on hitek / stackpole switches are way worse than hitek spaceinvaders.

It takes a lot to get a hall effect KB on eBay past my filters. I'll keep my hands off this one if you're serious about getting it.

I actually have at least three other devices that can talk to it and planned to use the full thing as intended. I have a few use-cases in mind.

Keep in mind that the one in the link does not have a doubleshot spacebar :(

Interestingly enough, it's still way better than the old hitek switches in my TI data911 terminal KB that CPTbadass linked.

I am getting a Ducky Viper and I have no idea how stiff is the 11°. Don't have a measuring tool right now though. Is it similar to HHKB with the small feet on or the larger feet on?

I'm assuming you mean Duck Viper. And I'm not understanding your question. How stiff is the 11°?

I would imagine it feels like the angle of a Filco or Ducky with the feet out. Dunno about an HHKB.

Definitely, if you want make good decision, you should buy switch tester. This is a matter of taste, I found for myself that mx white has more beautiful, quiet and elegant click than blue and order whites for next diy project. If read only reviews - blue is a winner in contest of clicky switches.

You really have to try switches to know if you like them. Some switches I thought I would love, I didn't. And some I was not expecting to like surprised me.

A lot of people mod clears to different weights. You are probably seeing a lot about ergo clears if you are reading a lot about clears.

I am currently running clears with 65g springs and silicone balls (trampoline mod) and SA keycaps. Been enjoying this setup, but it is not a super superior setup to any other switches.

I'm a bit outdated in my knowledge of current keyboard supply sellers - does anyone know where I can buy color 60% plates and fully functionally (preferably LED supported too) PCB's? Poker 2 compatible, specifically, compatible with Pexon's 60% aluminum case.

A bit expensive especially considering I won't be able to use all of the features (side lighting), and no plate...

Does anyone know if Sprit's 60% PCB's are compatible/ if they have shipped already?

I'm a bit outdated in my knowledge of current keyboard supply sellers - does anyone know where I can buy color 60% plates and fully functionally (preferably LED supported too) PCB's? Poker 2 compatible, specifically, compatible with Pexon's 60% aluminum case.

A poker 2 with a plate you paint yourself fits this description. Dunno about the status of sprit's buy.

Only place I know of that has colored plays is Imsto and I'm not sure if they're in Stock.

Ah okay I seemed to recall seeing them on IMSTOs website before, but couldn't find them now. Guess they're out of stock.

Would rather not paint the Poker plate (especially considering desoldering... soldering is fine but desoldering is such a *****), but thanks for the suggestion. Guess I'll keep my eyes peeled for a cheap used Poker.

They're both model M switches, so it should work.

I know it works the other way.

I've noticed that occasionally after I walk around on carpet for a bit and then touch my Kingsaver, I'll get a static discharge and the keyboard will stop working for a few seconds, then go back to normal. Is that harmful to the keyboard at all?

Yes.  It could kill the controller.  I'd find something grounded to clear yourself on, like your computer case, before touching your keyboard.

Yes it will and you can buy them from Unicomp.

I've noticed that occasionally after I walk around on carpet for a bit and then touch my Kingsaver, I'll get a static discharge and the keyboard will stop working for a few seconds, then go back to normal. Is that harmful to the keyboard at all?

I've also noticed that the Kingsaver doesn't have proper grounding. I've been trying to add in more drawer liner around the USB port area which seems to help a little. And yes it is harmful so you'll want to be careful and perhaps check your outlet to see if everything is grounded correctly. My apartment doesn't have proper grounding in the sockets since it's old and I need to install GFCI outlets.

Where can one get a winkeyless g80 1800 nowadays? Caps don't need to be doubleshot.

Hm...maybe ebay and some online retailers? I'm not quite sure which retailers though but perhaps you could message Ivan or Photekq. I know that occasionally they link me to odd websites and I can never remember what sites they are. Winkeyless is a bit harder to find though I believe.

In lowpoly's Apple M0110 modding guide, he replaces the springs with Dell AT101 springs. The springs in the M0110 are smaller than MX springs, are all alps springs the same, smaller size?

The diameter should always be the same, their length might differ but that really doesn't matter since they're getting compressed when you assemble them.

cphead, I'm guessing you want a G80 for the PCB? You might be better looking for a leeku 1800 PCB. Probably easier to find.

well it seems as though gh refuses to let me post the picture but the MX spring definitely has a bigger diameter

It is stupid. In a reply with a quote, you can't attach a photo.

But after you post, you can go back and modify it, then you get the option.

Go figure.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

I just tried it this myself and got a 500 Internal Server Error.

Reported fohat.digs' post to bring it to the mods'/admins' attention. PMing or a friendly report seems to do  more for fixing problems than complaining idly.
