the legends on that set you linked is downright ugly. having translucent legends just isn't worth it imo. good news is, there are plenty of alternatives depending on your budget. GMK doubleshot sets are generally unmatched in the aesthetics department, and also the quality department according to the majority here, but one will set you back a fair ~$120+. there are plenty of other cheaper non-GMK sets, but i'm not a fan of the ones that don't use Cherry legends and/or have SA profile

question: why has my post count stopped updating? this one did, but i'm sure i stayed at 110 posts for my last 3-5 posts. not a big deal, just curious if some part of the code is not working properly

The missing pin (pin 2) is not connected. It's a mini DIN-6 missing a pin and will likely work just fine with a USB adapter.

see here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS/2_port

Many lexmark IBMs are also missing pin6, which is also not connected.

It's physically incompatible with the PS/2 port.
I proxy anything including keyboards (キーボード / 鍵盤), from both Japan (日本) and China (中國). For more information, you may visit my dedicated webpage here: https://www.keyboards.es/proxying.html

Probably since the Pure Pros came out but I don't think there ever was an official announcement.

Is it true that PFU will restart production of blank, colored keycaps for the HHKB & Realforce and if so, when?

PFU (Pana Facom Usac) doesn't produce the keycaps for the HHKB, I am pretty sure Topre does. I don't think they will restart production, but I don't know for sure. Does anyone else know different?

Topre does production.

They're not going to do anymore, since no manufacturers have ordered any.

If you can muster up a few thousand orders, let me know.

Is the Poker II the kind of board that you can change stems/springs without soldering (just opening it from the top)?

No, the board is plate mounted and doesn't have the specialized cutouts to allow for this swap.

No, but the OG poker is. AKA the Poker X

You might have to wait ~6 months before R3 Springs GB starts...

I've stocked quite a few  60-68g springs in my store. Might have one 50, 55 & 85g pack left too.

Shipping will be expensive though (if you only purchase one pack of springs). But if you're also looking for switches, I have pretty much all but 2 Cherry switches in stock.

Depends on the printing methode. Dyesu is hard/impossible to remove. If it's lasered you could try acetone or some light sanding?

Noob question here: What profile are "Artisan" keycaps? Those that have faces in them, or are made of different matterials.
If they are OEM profile, would they look out of place on a keyboard with cherry profile keycaps?

Since most of them don't have a regular flat surface you can't really say they have a specific profile. Some of them go very well with Cherry profile caps, some not so much, it depends which profile was used as the base of the keycap.

Painting the keycaps will wear off and dying them, which is a better solution, won't cover printing.

What makes a keycap "Dolch"?
http://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_G80-1813#Dolch

Originally, the Dolch color way came from network sniffers. There's also inet network sniffers and other companies which made the system in that colorway but Dolch is the most well known one. AFAIK, a network sniffer is a type of portable computer system.

Recently, there has been some keycap sets made in the colorway which is referred to as Dolch.

there is also a cardiac monitor. I think the inet was used for more than just network sniffing. I hope to one day figure it out.

I've got a QFR and a Poker 2. I switch out the keyboards and keep the QFR cord depending on what I am doing. When I switch to the Poker 2 no worries type away. When I switch back to the QFR I get a "USB not recognized" and have to replug the usb from the computer even though it's the original QFR cord. IS there a work around here?

Also small random question when I start a new topic on GH it times me out 90% of the time but my thread still posts. Others having this problem? Is there already a thread on this?

You can't attach anything to PMs unfortunately. In order to do so, you'll have to upload it to imgur or another service like that. Alternatively, most users have a little button where you can send them an email.
