I couldn't think of a more appropriate place to keep my clacks, so I thought I would share.

I know...I'm a little embarassed. JD was trying to educate me on Korean Customs the other day. You don't actually type on them...you store them away and occasionally visit them and treasure them. I've been noobing it up on GH since day one :P

IIRC, CPTBadAss got it at the container store. They fit very nicely inside, with very little wiggle room. You also can get other colors and clear. :D

Whoa! Where can I find one of these? Reminds me of that scene where Neo pulls out those discs from his book box thingy at the beginning of the first movie.

So many great pictures in this thread! And I'm now realizing my own little container full of ziplocks is insufficient - feels like I'm bound to lose at least a singe key from a set without a storage upgrade.

My CCs belong to one keyboard. ATM, that keyboard is in limbo, waiting to be returned to me, so they sit in the box until then.

Do you type on them? Do you use them on your alpha keys? It's rather unrealistic for me to use all of them on one keyboard.

Also, I have OCD, which is why I don't use ABS key caps, because I know they will shine eventually (pretty fast mostly). I feel the same way of my CC's. I worry that they might wear down or get dirty or any of those things a person with OCD would worry about. I do put them on the keyboard I am not using at the moment. And the keyboard I happen to be using will have them on keys I hardly use (home, insert, etc).

Has anyone ever used a CC to see how fast they would actually shine? I'm truly curious.

Well you're not wrong. The WASD set has gotten a little shine to it now, and it's actually changed to a bit darker hue compared to the arrows after a year or so of gaming. The skulls remain looking new, a little cleaning now and then.

Has anyone ever used a CC to see how fast they would actually shine? I'm truly curious.
My WASD set started to take on shine at about 7-8 months of heavy use.

hmmm I would say a tad, when I compare it with the candy corn skull thats on the esc key

I'll tell you more when I compare it with my arrow clusters as that's rarely been used much

I use the top row keys a lot, actually. Which is why I tend not to use my clacks on those. Especially the HHKB. For the RF, the F-row is fine to leave them on there, as they are rarely used.

I think even proper profile skulls would be weird for normal everyday typing, too much texture!

I enjoy spacing out skulls on my blank HHKB top row. That way when playing MMOs and such, if I ever lose my place, the skulls let me know where my hands are at without looking.
