Would a Sanwa OSBF work instead possibly? Otherwise, well, Here's Seimetsu 30mm. They also have 24mm.

I am looking for HFBS-30.  I'd like to put some vintage blacks or ergo clears in these.

Thanks for the pointers; still looking for black. Unsure about substitutions; I know these have a minimal underside footprint. Mod I'm looking at is here:

I believe any 30mm will substitute okay, though screw-in is probably preferred. It's just a 2-wire switch so the HFBS would work as well as any other. (Hell, you could use giant emergency stop buttons if you wanted.)

As far as I can tell, nobody has black Seimetsu though. Maybe smoke instead?

Yo, just noticed this thread, cool that you are doing my mod! Yes, I got mine from Canadian Joysticks.
Depth of the PS-15 is 21.3mm inside the case, however the HBFS-30 seem even better, at 20mm, and you can put different cherry switches in them !  I will update my mod thread with that nice find, thanks gameaholic !

It really depends.

If you are going with a tactile click them...

You'd still go with Semitsu,  if you have a linear themed keyboard.. then you'd go with Sanwa.

The Seimitsu PS-15 is linear. Can't speak of any others, I have only used the PS-15

All commonly available seimitsu and sanwa switches are going to be linear.  For this application I would definitely go with seimitsu, sanwas would  be very easy to accidentally activate in that position, IMO.

If you did want clicky buttons, you could go with american style buttons, but I highly doubt they'll fit.

Other sites I've used for arcade parts are focusattack.com and paradisearcadeshop.com/

I'm not sure of the internal dimensions, but I'd guess any of the japanese buttons will work.
