Hahaha I was just joking with my mate about that, I don't drink anymore so he said the only other way to celebrate is with a cake!

Can't wait to start, looks like such an awesome place to work. Casual clothes every day and really friendly people. And to make things even better all the upper management and HR are located in the US so us developers are free to do our work without interference.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

10.3 is the bomb - This OS and experience is what should have shipped with these devices in the first place. Not sure what direction blackberry was taking the past few years but  OS versions pre 10.3 to me were archaic.

Installing the leaks has become extremely easy though. Normally thesy are distributed via "autoloaders".  Double-click and wait!

As you know, these are not official releases and carry no support. Leaks may or may not contain full functionality for your device such as recording video for example -- usually in the MAY NOT category.

Make backups.... and try it out then revert back if you want. I get mah leeks from crack berry dizzot com forums

TIL that Russian is the 3rd most difficult language for native English speakers to learn, behind only Chinese and Arabic

ha, how optimistic.

I'm learning it and it's difficult even for a native of another Slavic language. Russian grammar is brutal  But, at least I was able to learn the alphabet easily.

The last air show I went to a guy didn't pull up in time and was killed. Right after it happened the announcer got on the speakers telling people to go check out the concession stands and grab a cold drink. Left a bad taste in my mouth (not the drink, the announcer's attitude.) :(

That is actually exactly what they are supposed to do.  Take the attention away from the accident and let the proper crews do what they need to do.

Went to Best Buy to pick up a galaxy tab. After she got the box, I asked her if they had any USB OTG cables so I could hook up my 660M. She comes back, no cable, but instead with a bunch of bluetooth scissor switch keyboards. Part of me wanted to explain how unacceptable these POS's were, but restrained and simply said "No thanks, I have a few of my own"

I went to a friends's birthday party. Mind you, this was a typical girl gathering. I get out my new keyboard and immediately everyone is amazed by the pretty lights. Then they were amazed by the Cherry MX Blues when compared to my laptop. I think these girly girls might secretly be a little geeky. I may have cried tears of joy.

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Nice. I'd like to visit St Petersburg some time in the future when Russia has become a bit more free than it is now.

Today I visited a flea market and picked up a DVD of Spaced (a TV series with Simon Pegg) and the book jPod by Douglas Coupland.
