I've paid my share of crazy prices but yeah, I'm glad my clack fever has gone down since then.

Yeah the prices are pretty nuts, I could understand around the $200 mark but any more than that is pants on head stupid. You could put up a WTB here and pick them up for way less if you're patient.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

If you guys keep on saying its nuts and stupid to pay so much, the buyer may not post photos here anymore for fear of being call crazy. So, if you want to see beautiful shots of the green Vader, keep those thoughts to yourself :p

If a 'normal' Clack is usually sold for 70-100$ or even more, an ultra rare Clack could be for sure 4 times more valuable and hold it's price. So 400$ is not that crazy, if it's very rare. It's all about demand and supply, the only way the prices could go down is lower or almost no demand and disinterest.

[EDIT] Forgot what i wanted to post: sleepless night, 3AM, looking for Clacks to be sold. Even one 3D CC was in the classifieds this night, but i was too slow.

Rare ones usually go for around the $200 mark though.

I thought of red or green Vaders, golden skulls, something really rare like that.

Nope, I don't think so. OG tri and those transparent red went for 400 all the time and I know there has to be other keycaps that have sold for more than that before.

Might be USA only, but then he sometimes does international only sales too.

Right?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
