Added a couple IBM Models that I did a bolt mod on.  Higher than the average Model M price, but they are clean and their life has been extended with a bolt mod.

Just wanted to put in a good word for prdlm2009. Today I test drove the Model M I bought from him, and I have to say, he did an awesome job with the bolt mod.

Whoever snags the other board he has for sale won't be disappointed. :thumb:

I will also put in a good word for prdlm.  I bought the last board he had for sale and it feels great. I also have a topre board, and for serious typing (I'm a writer) I prefer using the Model M I bought from him.

It would probably cost about $50 shipping. So probably $110 total.

Do you have this up on ebay?

They will ding you for 10% but you might find a much bigger market place there.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

I have had more luck on Ebay with these bolt-modded M's (lots of foreign buyers!), but I figured with the off-center case, I might offer a bolt-mod with 1391401 internals for a cut rate price hear before moving onto Ebay.   I really just want this one out of my house, so profit is not a huge concern for me.

I might buy the Monterey Blue keyboard...
Does this thing just plug in via PS/2 like everything else? And do you have the cable for it?

It doesn't not plug in via PS/2.  Most vintage apple keyboards use ADB, which is the same as S-video.  By the looks of the photo, I think prdlm2009 has included a black S-video cable.

You will need an ADB to USB converter like Hasu's ADB converter or a Griffin iMate adapter to make an ADB keyboard work on a modern pc.

Probably will get one of those if I decide to get this. Maybe I'll transfer the switches later down the line to a custom.

To my knowledge, these switches are not compatible with Alps PCBs.  They have slightly different mounting locations.

I have an F122 which I got with the truly odd Data Entry layout, but I put black keycaps from an M13 on it (together with some Unicomp plain black ones for the extra function keys, etc).

If you want keycaps that have all the normal functions on them and won't clash with your case, this could be the ticket!

I've read that some of the aluminum top plates are of pretty poor quality - rough edges, poor texture and the like. Did you run into any of these problems?

And how is your personal experience with clears? I like blues but browns are too soft, so I'm not sure if clears are quite right, but I'd love your opinion.

This aluminum top plate seems to be from a better manufacturing run.  The edges have been smoothed and it fits well without any issues.

Clears definitely are not as soft as Browns.  These have 62g springs, while browns tend to have 45g springs, I think.  The clears also have a more pronounced tactile bump, so you can feel each key press a little more.  Browns almost feel like they are linear, but with Clears, you can definitely feel that bump with each key press.
