Those soda keycaps look sick. Any chance of topre versions in the pipeline? I've always been a massive fan of your Topre fn work Binge, the solid colours have been just breathtaking (judging from pictures anyway, I haven't had the good fortune of ever owning one). Are you planning on continuing the Fn's?

FN topre keys were never intended to run long term, and I don't intend to start them up again unless I can incorporate some sort of design.  It's a lot of work for something that doesn't have my art on it.

Would it be feasible to create molds with two compatible bottoms, one for MX stem and one for Topre stem?  I have no actual experience in mold making, but unless I've missed something, that should be possible, right?  Practicality is another story of course.

If you look at how the other key makers do it it's easiest to use a topre for your basic design and then hack an MX base into a topre donor to use to make an optional MX bottom to mold.  I don't use topre profile caps for my MX keys based keys because most all of my keys are made on cherry profile.  Hacking a topre stem into an MX cherry key is not easy, convenient, fun, or incredibly interesting as much as it is work.  Not opposed to doing work, but I'm also not interested in making topre keys when one can hack a topre stem to mount MX.

Nah, I saw that he had a beard, and then on a whim invited him over to the Bingecave because nobody likes to meet up on the east coast.  I assumed he wouldn't accept the offer, but damnit Lurch hoofed it with an evil satchel full of dub-plates and stories of heavy leanin'.  Truly one of the highlights of the year for me, and I hope to return the favor sometime and catch a show with this fellow mad scientist.

Wow that's awesome, great work talking the leap from 1u straight to 6.25. The current mold/mock-up looks very promising.

Curse you non-standard spacebar (750R), I can't mod in a stem on Binge cap, that would be just wrong.

is this a fkin grrizzle bear swimming through space!?!?

SA profile? :(

Looks more like OEM/DCS. possibly Cherry, although not sure if Binge would experiment on a GMK spacebar :K
