SSK Numlock?

I just got one in recently.. How do you access all the layers (letters, numbers, and navigation) on an SSK? Here's what I've figured out so far:
Toggling shift + numlock toggles between the letters and then either the numbers or the navigation keys. If I'm in the non-letter mode and I hit numlock on another keyboard plugged in, then it toggles between numbers navigation. Shift + numlock on my SSK again will take me back to letters.
But how do I access all three layers from just the SSK alone?

The third layer is using [Shift] when in the active Numlock state. That gives you the front-printed keys such as Home, End, PgUp, PgDn, Ins, Del, and the arrows.
