I think he's been really busy because I don't get any response from him for like 10 days. I'm still waiting for my invoice, though. :P

He must be. Don't worry he is probably just finishing up the packages then it will be shipped to the proxies and then forwarded onto you

Sprit, do you have an estimate for when R1 75% orders will start going out? It's coming up on almost a year since I paid...almost as long as the GH60 project...I was PM'ing with you but you stopped replying to my messages after telling me that you would check on my order. That was a few weeks ago. Can I get an update, please?

Wow, 1 year for R1, 75%.

I just changed my order from R2, 75% to the R3, 75% due to the slimness. I may be regretting this decision. At this rate, it'll be 2 years before I see this board.

I think I read some where that Sprit would include a kit that could transform the model 1 to model 2 or 3. I'm not sure if this also apply to round 2. Btw. 1 year might be too much for me 2 wait. I'm starting to be paranoid :S

Round 2 orders won't take 1 year to ship :p. Only reason round 1 took this long was because PCBs didn't reach MOQ for factory presoldering for resistors / diodes, so Sprit had to hand solder a couple hundred boards.

Currently in the factory for SMD factory presoldering.  :)
I'll ask sprit for a more updated shipping schedule. It should be soon though.

Assuming you're talking about this:

The PCB doesn't support that layout like the phantom does.

Oh yeah, the original phantom plates form biniaris supported that layout. Here's mine.

The 7bit specifically tried to maximize the amount of keys on the keyboard and has no stabilizers.

Unfortunately the TKL and 110% PCBs sprit offers do not support the layout, even if you got a plate that did. The reason is that they put the controller there, so there's no space for the holes of a switch.

sprit's pictures of the TKL:

Something I don't understand with these cases, are the screw heads on the top only visible on Models 2 & 3? Or are there no screws on the model 1 shown in the first pictures just to get it done quick?
Maybe for future revisions there could be an enlargement of the screw holes at the top which would allow the screw heads to be screwed below the surface in order to make them less visible.

Sorry for the R2 Production delay!  -  The Cases are under Finalizing,  60% PCBs are in the SMT Pre-soldering Factory, due to some Parts(diodes, capacitors..) changed for a better SMT work

Depends on switch, but Sprit should have both available.

Zeal, I’ve ordered sprit model 1 with red switches ... and I need to know which type of switches I need to replace some of the red switches. That’s why I’m asking.

Depends on switch, but Sprit should have both available.
Zeal, I’ve ordered sprit model 1 with red switches ... and I need to know which type of switches I need to replace some of the red switches. That’s why I’m asking.

Forgive me if I'm reading your question wrong, but the PCB supports both plate and PCB mount switches, so it wouldn't matter what type of switches you'll be changing later.

But I’d like to replace the switches without soldering, open them up ... So I guess in this case it doesn’t matter whether I take plate mounted replacement switches or PCB-mounted replacement switches?

Both switches can be opened without desoldering from the PCB since the plate has small cutouts for the latches to slide out.

Any word on the R2 PCBs with sizes > 60%?

I've ordered a 100%/110% PCB and the switches + keycaps + case is getting lonely being kept apart for so long :-)

Update   31th

SO Sorry for the Shipping Delay for the rest of R1 !!!   = I will finish the Rest of R1 Shipping from me in 3 weeks.

Sorry for the R2 Production delay! - The Cases are under Finalizing, I had to Solve One critical Issue on the PCB Bolts  for the Compatibility for 2mm Poker Bolts and 3mm Standard PCB standoff Screws.   It took so much time, Now Fixed. I've produced custom compatible Screws.

60% PCBs are in the SMT Pre-soldering Factory,
due to some Parts(diodes, capacitors..) changed for a better SMT work.

I will Post Pics very Soon !

(Attachment Link)

Keep going! We Appreciate it's not been easy.  :thumb:

If possible, I'll see if I can help him ship the remainder of R1 US orders along with the R2 US shipments I'll be importing.

@witbliz I'll check with him

Can you check to see if you can get my R2 case order in? My Poker 2 is ready to go less case :/
