Yo no need to throw stones.  I personally picked up a Leopold set to tide me over since the waiting left me with a couple naked boards.   I planned keyboards around this group buy and have had to adapt, I know I've ended up spending more money as a result of delays.  This really was disappointing on the side of PLUM, they were supposed to be the new hope after the off touch capslock debacle.

All that being said, I'm still excited and hopeful for the end product.  I have high hopes for the black on black dyesub.

Yeah, I also went ahead and grabbed a blank Vortex set from Massdrop. It's fine though, can never have too many sets, especially cherry profile   ;D

That's why you spread your income around Geekhack.  :))

Looking at your avatar I'm guessing you were planning an all-black board?
What did you have in mind? :)

Um... I ordered Nostalgia, Cherry Legend Replicas, DSA Dolch (which went way worse than this GB so far), GMK Dolch, Nuclear Green and PuLSE while waiting for these. And then caved and swapped one of my 4 orders from this GB for Penumbra. Only got 2 MX boards to put them all on, but I'll be building some more for all these drool-worthy caps.  :D
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

PS: Don't be upset if I randomly change my mind and decide to keep them.

Really thought we would have heard something out of these wankers by now, what a terrible way to run a business.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Hah. While waiting for several other GB's, and also this one, I picked up myself 2 infinity boards each with PBT's, Case, 2 Pokers and them DSA infinity caps. Most likely should arrive all around the same time. Best Christmas ever?

Don't you remember those pictures posted months ago in like 92p, those were the pictures, I think they were caps. Thinking about it now though it could have just been a black pixel. It's officially fishy, end of this month and we're bordering on a scamish feel.

Hardly. I'm far from seasoned and even I know there are many examples of buys that have taken this long or longer. Many people have already pointed out that we're about halfway to how long some of the Honeywell buys have taken.

If you're so dissatisfied with how things are going, perhaps you should find someone to take over your order. I'm sure you could find a willing participant.

I'm not too anxious because of Ivan's ability to pull of 3 other group buys I've been in.

HOwwwweeverr, would be nice if Ivan would share some insight into the logistics of this. Do you call them and they just don't answer? If they answer do they just say 'soon' and hang up? Are you contacting them by e-mail? Have you contacted them this month at all???

You know, just little things to help keep our sanity in check and bring us in the know as to what is happening.

Yeah I'm honestly not worried about a scam, unless Plum have gone under we'll be getting our caps. It just disappoints me that they're so far behind on schedule and yet unwilling to provide use with a reason why or an updated timeline.

Do PBT keycaps slowly over time lose their "grainy" texture? I have a set of cheap thin PBT keycaps from an old keyboard and it seems like some keys have a bit more texture than others (depending on use on the keyboard). I can't tell if it's me or not.

I'm curious how the texture will feel of these new ones compared to my "seasoned" ones.

Too bad.  I bet a lot of people with blank orders would be okay with or even prefer overly dark caps but I understand there are additional costs to dividing up the shipping like that.

I know someone who can communicate in Mandarin and was thinking of asking if they could chat up KBC into making some Rainbow POM keycaps.

Man that sucks. If it helps I'm happy to go ahead still, I was always under the impression that the sublimation would be very 'under the radar'.

Same thing as since the beginning. We want it dark as can be while still light enough you can see legends dyesubbed. It's a thin line and pretty demanding really. It's a fairly demanding request, and they are making an effort.
