so many icons!

It's all the applications I use a lot/daily and then everything else buried in folders. Don't see the point in having more than one screen of icons or having a fancy wallpaper, just need functionality!

i guess, i mean i have the apps i use daily on my home screen too, but in grouped folders so its not cluttered
personally i find clutter annoying, not just on phones, but on my desktop too.
Desktop at home has 0 icons on it lol.

I use my desktop all the time and have so many things going on or running it's rare I ever even see my desktop. I used to have it super minimal and when theme customization first became a thing with XP was proper into making it super minimal etc etc but as the years have gone on and on I just slowly stopped caring and have gone for maximum functionality are cared less about how it looks.

The one thing (possibly only) I like about iOS is you can unlock your phone and have all your progs (on the home screen anyway) one press away, you don't to fiddle around with folders etc... and for anything else there is the search.

you can do this with android too, thats why people have the google search bar, it searches your phone & the internet.

Depends on your device. But try holding down Power+Volume Down.

In theory, performance. In practice, it doesn't matter. No color/texture is just the least obtrusive choice.

I've removed all widgets as well, because I sometimes tapped on them by accident when checking time... the extra tap to get to settings, audio player or alarm clock probably won't kill me.

Spends all his time rearranging his phone screen instead of cleaning the house :p

What'd be cool is if when you tapped her chin her eye turned to look at you.

HTC One running some custom 4.2 distro, haven't bothered to flash something newer since, idk, May?  Using nova as my launcher of choice.  Probably about time to update software/PRL, I just haven't had much reason to - although CM10.2/11 does sound fun...
