this is why we should have stopped inflated clack prices earlier.

now the people faking them will also fake his sig in addition to photoshop

Didn't you just try to buy a Julysicle for $100, but couldn't because you couldn't afford it?

I'm sure there are 2 different keys there :3 One with round corners and one with sharp, or am I missing something ?
A yeah, it is called photoshop :D

Moose clearly edited the photos to show that we can't be save purchasing CCs anymore even if they show us pic of the bottom.

Clearly edited?

Well thats a damn good edit because they look like different keys to me :3

unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

That's right. Now the site has an even bigger ****storm on its hands. These fake CCs are simply a manifestation of all the greed displayed by some individuals on this site.

Everyone understand economics, but the concept of greed seems to escape you. Yes, it is basic economics, but we're talking about reselling $20 items for $$$ to community members. That's greed.

...'community members' get clacks at pretty low prices/retail more often than not becasue they are 'community members' and people help them out as much as they can... random people who post on a forum who are willing to pay silly amounts for a single cap get what they want at a price they are happy to pay...

Not sure if its been said before but this would be a great topic for the next podcast :)

Also the fakes are very well done, just a shame its on something such as this, well maybe they will stop this and make something of their own, hopefully we have a silver lining and the person/people making this create their own product

The time and effort that went into making a counterfeit could have produced something new and interesting.

As a buckling spring user, I am kind of indifferent to Cherry gear, but I would love to see new and interesting designs, also in Alps.

Why doesn't somebody make cool symbols, Refresh comes to mind, along with really nice decorative 3D arrows, just for a start.

"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

I mean, you guys saw this coming, right?

Y'all are buying these things for hundreds of dollars, and you don't expect someone to come along and fake them for easy cash?

That's just my 2 cents, I really hate to get involved.

What I linked CC when I realized the"Ice Blue" I received was fake. What I pointed out was but a few as CC pointed out even more justfrom the images I showed him. I have even more respect for CC seeing how much he knows every nook and cranny of his art.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

what does fxe stand for?

http://www.fxesc.com/

What is that?

Quote
Q: What's the difference between FXESC and Clack Factory? CFK?
A: FXESC is the name and hub for all of my artistic pursuits so the Clack Factory would be under and a part of that as a specific pursuit of my keyboard related work. As for CFK, it's Clack Factory Keys, or someones favorite fast food chain backwards. =P

From CC's FAQ.  Something that everybody should read.

Yeah, beating a dead horse, this is not of any surprise and I am actually shocked it took this long for this to happen. Such a shame

I'm so sad I missed the drama ;_;

My$.02

kudos to the guy who copied it, as stated elsewhere he could have just as easily copied the bottom as he did the top. The fact he made it so obvious that they're fakes shows he did this just to rustle jimmies. And rustle them he did. If you guys should be mad at anyone it's yourselves, coveting these things like they're ****ing pieces of gold, sure they're nice, but not nice enough to give away hundreds of $$$ in stuff to trade for what amounts to a $20 piece of plastic. That's your own fault.

Also, I'm the one who made these. Just to prove a point OuO

When they first sell they are $20, and that is in a lotto.  However their market price is much higher.  Supply/demand etc.
