I have a mint green blank, it had some stemwork done to it, and now the stem and underneath is a milk blue. Perhaps this is from a similar incident.

Ok, I just want to say I have interest in the 3D but this is also the first Clack for me and after reading that thread of fake Clacks, my confidence is jittery - and I swear I don't mean this to offend Dgsblik .. guess, just being wary.. so I would appreciate comment if this is normal for stain to happen......

A stain is not normal.  CC's quality and consistency is so high that even if one is slightly off-colour it has a hole drilled in it and sold as a factory second.

I would suspect that this one had an adventure AFTER it was let loose into the wild, but only a previous owner could confirm that.

That was my favorite one, out of all my yellow bottoms that one was orange.

No offence taken at all, don't worry about. Stain isn't normal at all for an ordinary clack and as mentioned I don't think CC would sell it like this. I received the clack with the blue mark on it so the stain has been added by a previous owner (some experiment of some sort idk).
The clack has the CF stamp and the inner rounded edges, I can try get more detailed shots if you have concerns.
