Totally agree...... just waiting for Matt3o's final decision on whether his baby goes DSA or SA prime  :thumb: .

Can I suggest adding 4 additional caps for people with separate numpads?

Like an Esc-row;
Esc, Tab, Backspace, and a random key with the logo of the set.
Even blanks is fine.

Such as in Goldtouch or Leopold.

wondering if I should separate the two set of mods (dark and twilight). But probably it's just fine like this.

Why not both? :)

Good Job.  This set looks great.

When you start the GB how long will it run for?

Oh damn you Matt3o, offering both of them as profiles for this proposed Group Buy is so cruel and inhuman, like being offered a choice between sleeping with Scarlett Johansson, Jesse Jane or both  :-\ ???

Not really because if he's serious about running both profiles then I'll be forced to get both of them.  Mind you he would be the FIRST here on Geekhack to ever run both of these brilliant profiles, side by side  :thumb: .

The man is some kind of evil genius offering a great colour-way across DSA and SA profiles.  Just now waiting to see if this will actually happen now, just so suspicious of people playing games but I do know that Matt3o can be serious, if he chooses.

okay guys... I was kinda joking :)

The preference on this set is spread between SA and DCS (the macross set will be DSA). I personally don't know which one would be better and --if SP let me-- I would have both done since I don't think the two profiles are in conflict BUT I understand that running the same set in different layout might be daunting, so the second profile might simply come in a second phase.

Voted for DCS.

If this gets indeed done in DCS, will the Alphas have Cherry legends or Wyse or something else?

I'd totally love to have this in Cherry legends, but it depends on cost. Is the cherry set complete? I had the impression it was not 100% ready yet.

Regarding ETA, this will hopefully start at the beginning of Feb (sorry guys but it doesn't depend on me) and will be a super fast GB (3 weeks to order).

Hopefully it will start at the end of Feb.  Iam about to have to pay for Raindrop R2.

Voted for SA, simply because it's the heaviest compilation of beautiful plastic to ever be seen out of SP's moulds.

Always buy the most plastic because it will last forever on your keyboards, in fact the average Filco keyboard would fall apart before any wear is shown on an SA profile  :thumb: .

Yes, the Cherry set is complete. Thanks to Bunnylake even the 4 ISO Keys have proper legends now. This means there are no extra costs granted you get the permission from them to use the Cherry legends. But I guess this won't be a problem :)

Check out these GBs with Cherry legends:

Another small update.

I've added 1.5u mods to the RGB kit and one 1u CTRL and ALT to the additional mods (don't know if needed actually, I'll double check some keyboard layouts).

I've also changed the RED ESC to PURPLE ESC (which seems more appropriate).

I also added 4 R1 blanks to the numpad.

Please keep voting for your preferred profile!

I don't think that's a problem. Those profiles are so different that I assume it won't influence orders.

Agreed......first run SA then you can take the DCS route later on  ;D .  So pleased you've finally decided to take the best profile now and produce the inferior one later.

Lovely looking set MattO - the only thing I'd suggest is considering regular case text on the modifiers rather than all caps.

I think all caps worked on the retro set but less so on this in my opinion.

Great color scheme.

I'll make a test with lowecase, but on SA I would actually prefer all caps for that retro feeling. If we go DCS I'd probably agree with you,

There you go, the midnight set in all its glory

I've added the 1U mods in the mod kits and changed again the ESC color. I'm not yet set about it.

Anyway it should be it. As far as I can tell, this will be an SA profile set, unless we get an horde of DCS lovers in these last few days...

I bet those who vote for SA profile not more than 50% will buy it eventually, SA just look ugly in this set and screw out everything in my opinion.
Try to make a mockup yourself, you will know why the beauty of keyset is always important.
Even TS initially proposed for DCS since this profile suit this set with better look.
