CM Storm with BS Switches Possibility?
« on: Sun, 05 January 2014, 12:22:51 »
Any chance CM could work out a deal with Unicomp to make Buckling Spring based CM boards.  I would really like a BS board in a CM storm type of case, nice keycaps and backlighting (though this would be a lot less important).

Though unicomp has the moulds for some of the tech here, since the buckling spring patent has since expired, they can certainly get this made in Taiwan or wherever their OEM(s) are located.

For Topre: I dont think I've seen that brand applied to their new tech. Everyone knows a lot of the topre feel is the rubber sheet, and I think I head carter say in a video that they use silicone in the new "electrostatic" keyboard.

What I want to see is hall effect. You think your puny 50 million actuations are good? HE is good for billions. Wear that out: I dare you.
