Punched a wall out of anger while during a fight with my brother...hit a beam in the wall as hard as i could....and ... a boxer's fracture.

kind painful, beyond frustrating....i'm incredibly angry...especially after 2 years of bone injuries (broken back and both heels broken at the same time)..I just hope I don't need surgery, if i do it will take a lot longer

I respect you for trying to honor iMav, Dubs, but it seems you have not quite mastered wall punching.

Hope you get better soon, it'll be hard to enjoy keyboards with that club hand.

Hoff- I have not mastered it clearly, but will try again in the near future when possible  :))
I did dent it pretty bad...but no hole because it was on a beam. I didn't think I broke it for a day because it's hard to break your hand by punching drywall...but I hit a beam... so..  :(

i saw that discovery channel program that says you need to cause enough micro fracture over years and years to harden your bones for punching...

So it's not that you should stop punching walls..  You should punch softer walls before you move onto the hard ones.

Sounds like someone should invest in punching bags.

I have punched a few times through a gyprock (a kind of plasterboard) a few times only to get away with a few marks on my knuckles. However I can imagine punching a wall at random only to know there was a beam right in between and where you struck would hurt badly.

Hopefully all goes well! violence does not necessarily solve anything. I have had qualms with my brother that have left the house in the state of disrepair and shamed my family.
