Do you mind a non funded DH to join? I don't have much rift keys left though.

I stop playing for 2 weeks, and I get totally left behind :(. People I ran T1 Rifts with are now carrying me through T3 and T4. Who wants to rift with me so I can get better gears and leave T1/T2 behind? :D

Gearing up is really fast since 2.0.5. I have now 3 chars who can clear T6 pretty efficiently, its a shame almost no GHers play on EU so I would have more than my clanmates to play with :(

I'm currently maining on my barb PussPounder.

If you want to group up/want to know about the builds just hit me up.  We would need to play together and loot share for trading.

I have a few fully geared DHs. T6 is easy mode :)
Haven't played much recently because I'm just waiting on the next patch to go live. Messing around in PTR is kinda fun too.

Sounds great, I won't start playing before next week, maybe even later depending on my results. I haven't played for about two years, so I'm going to need a HUGE update. I'll post my BNet ID when I'm back at home. That seasonal stuff sounds interesting, so why not :)

I will be on as well.  Got me season 9 Witch Doctor to Paragon 340ish. Trying to decide what class to play this season.  Wizard is out since I am not a fan of the slow time play style.  Thinking either Monk or Barb.

Going from D3 to D2 makes it seem sooo slooowww. I think that's one of the reasons I really like D3, its much more fast-paced.

I stumbled into this thread and this was the first post I read. I just want to say I disagree completely. I'm not a D2 "purist", I don't prefer the game because I think it's a more pure experience or anything like that. I prefer it because I think the gameplay is more interesting and varied. For me, it was three things that killed D3, all of them related to how little you could customise your character, which killed the game for me after a single playthrough of each character:
-No stats customisation (they're chosen automatically)
-No skill tree (you unlock all skills automatically)
-Items are bland and only really focus on how much +STR, +DEX or +INT you get, so item cutomisation is largely limited to how much of your primary stat the item provides (I've been told that this has since been improved, but it's not enough)

Of course lots of things improved; there are lots of new things to do, there are some nice gameplay and interface tweaks, the visuals are massively improved and the cinematics, in true Blizzard fashion, are incredible — and I enjoyed playing D3, but the replayability suffered immensely IMO.

-No stats customisation (they're chosen automatically)

...except you can customize stats with Paragon points, to some extent. Not as much as in other games, but it's enough to have a noticable impact. Eg, my paragon point distribution for the same char is very different, depending on if I play solo, or in group, and which role I fill in the group, and what kind of gear I have. Eg, if I find a piece of gear that gives me significant damage boost, at the cost of vitality, I may very well end up putting some points into Vitality (and take those off of Dexterity) to compensate.

Or if I'm playing healer monk, then crit%, crit damage, and dexterity are of little use, and CDR, attack speed, and vitality are much more important. When I play DPS, the paragon point distribution is very different. Mind you, after a certain point (~PL800) this starts to matter less, because you'll be stacking primary stat from then on, as everything else is gonna be maxed. But with Seasons, one can easily reach Guardian way before PL800, and stat distribution does matter until then.

-No skill tree (you unlock all skills automatically)

While that is true, you can arrange the skills you have in many different combinations, and have runes to augment your skills. It's easier and faster to unlock all skills earlier, but that does not mean that all of them will be useful. There are a lot of builds, skills, etc, that need a fair amount of gear to shine.

-Items are bland and only really focus on how much +STR, +DEX or +INT you get, so item cutomisation is largely limited to how much of your primary stat the item provides (I've been told that this has since been improved, but it's not enough)

This used to be the case, but has not been for a long, long time. The legendary attributes are often more important than the raw numbers on the item, and there's a fair amount of variety, too.

Of course lots of things improved; there are lots of new things to do, there are some nice gameplay and interface tweaks, the visuals are massively improved and the cinematics, in true Blizzard fashion, are incredible — and I enjoyed playing D3, but the replayability suffered immensely IMO.

Seasons helped a lot with replayability, imo. I just rush through the season with a friend now, done in a weekend or two, and then sit out the rest of the season. Two weekends of Diablo 3 every few months is just enough. :)

All the D3 is on the seasons. i think D3 is good but the endgame is not that fun. Basicaly you spend lots of hours grinding for items and resources, I mean, is not that rewarding in my point of view. That's why I play a week and stop for two months, then I play another week and keep doing this process until my life ends.

About the skills: Yea, there a lot of combinations to build but always will be a dominnant build that everyone wants to play to reach superior dificulties.

So my processes is:
>make a season character
>grind for best itens for a good build
>realize that is a better build
>grind for that's itens
>realize you spend a lots of hours
>give up
