I thought that the Mandolin crystals were in the early-1985s, not November.

Yeah it was.  Discussing it right now whether to open this to all auctions or post a further clarification, but my personal preference is to keep this as an extension of the Classifieds as designed, for people's personal externally-hosted auctions (which the stickied rules here hint at).

This belongs in Great Finds, as one of the ironic examples. At least this guy isn't making up crap about his terminal board, he's possibly just clueless about its alleged rarity and desirability, or hoping to get really lucky.

No wonder, I figured things out now. Ronnie Raygun and his Star Wars project was in full swing and there were fears of a Soviet nuclear attack. So IBM did the patriotic things and started producing nuke proof keyboards.

In the US you have to be dead to be on stamps or money.

There is a joke about "dead presidents" when referring to large-denomination bills because they have presidents portraits on them, but Benjamin Franklin was "the only president who was never president".
