So I found a local shop that might make me some acrylic inserts for both the Light Pad and the Viper, but what do I need to give them, just the .dxf flle Duck posted on his site?
Will they know what to do with that, because I sure as hell don't...
I don't know if we know the thickness of them.  But the files show the profile of them so if we knew the thickness it shouldnt be hard.  You would just tell him which ones you wanted (theres 4 on the file) and how many probably.

The thickness may be what 10T and 12T are but thats just a guess.

It seems they are 12T (http://kbdlab.co.kr/index.php?mid=board_tune&document_srl=153206), but might be different with V2. DXF can be opened with autocad or converted, they should be fine.

What I meant was I have no idea what 10T and 12T mean.  I just assumed it was some form of a measurement of thickness.  I would guess it just means mm thick but I would prefer if someone more knowledgeable (or with one of these boards) would confirm.

From other posts, especially the Orion base plate it seems like this does mean the thickness in mm. I have sent the files to a company nearby to ask for a quote as well.
T = Thickness?
12T = 12mm

Does the layout of the PCB of Viper has been posted yet? I was planning to get sprit's 60% Acrylic plate, cut it and put it on the viper. Is that possible?

No idea if it is possible, I wouldn't count on it personally.  The pcb was posted a couple pages back though

should be the middle one.

I see. Thanks. It might be worth a try though seeing acrylic can be easily modified.

Haha, yeah I'm pretty excited XD.  I've been using tkl for so long and just recently got a 60% besides my hhkb and realized how much I like the layout.  Also realized how much I love 65g blues, especially the part where I don't have to bother lubing them.  Sad to see my GON going to get replaced though...might eventually have to sell it.

It very well might work.  To be honest I didn't look too much into the layout of the pcb and the plates from Sprit.  If I had to make a quick judgement I can see a few problems with the screw placement being off (at least thats what I assume those holes are for on the pcb).  For instance the one right below I believe its keys 6 and 7.  The screw hole for the sprit plate is actually between the switches instead.  I can see the same being a problem for the one by the enter key and maybe the shift one at the very least.

Yeah, you are right. Upon checking the plate I have, there is no single hole I can see that would match the one on Viper's PCB.

Does anyone know what if we should but plate mounted or pcb mounted stabs for the viper and eagle plates? I assume plate mounted but I'm not sure.

Hi Elton -- what would be your latest prediction for the start of the group buy for the viper/eagle kits??

inb4 - 'after lightsaver group buy'. :D

I'm actually glad this buy is slightly delayed. Allows me more time to get my paltry finances in order :D :D

Is pricing the same as estimated in the IC? about $220 per PCB/case + shipping?
