i can gather the orders and ask for a better price from china vendor
the listed price in taobao is around 23 dollars
maybe 2-3 dollar mark down will be possible if we have enough order

but do not expect to have the add-on pack that we are having now

Yeah I can almost guarantee you tons of people would like that set, even at that price.  Speaking of which, I'd buy it at the non-GB price.  But do still run a GB.  We all like saving money.

Made some calculations from current 110 orders.

If the target MOQ is 300 then that MOQ for Dolch ANSI would be met with approximate amount of 303 total orders. MOQ for Granite ANSI would be met with approximate amount of 478 total orders. MOQ for Olivette ANSI would be met with approximate amount of 500 total orders.

Estimated how many orders we need to reach 4.5$ tier for each add-on pack then? With current order rate Dolch add-on would hit the ultimate target when total of 423 orders have been made. Granite add-on would need approximate amount of 717 total orders and Olivette add-on 767.


So I think 500 orders total would be good goal (to start with at least). Make sure you advertise this in deskthority (LOTS of ISO users) and other places all over the internet.

maybe some other forums, or vendors here.

I don't think anyone is going to worry over $1 per pack. But you should try to negotiate them down to $14.50

If one of the main sets don't hit MOQ but the addon pack does, will we have the opportunity to cancel our order? I wouldn't be interested in an Olivette addon set unless I can also get the base set for it too

They're indeed doubleshot but they're OEM profile and not much thicker than regular ABS keycaps. Think Signature Plastic's DCS profile but taller.

I don't think all of them end on May 31st? I just think he will start the next one when the prior MOQ is met. I think one of the reasons why he went with these colour options first was cause they gathered the most interest in the interest check thread.

I'm fairly sure the gb for the purple set will come. I've been noticing a few people wanting that as well

Could anyone enlighten me as to what we would do if the AddOn pack for a set somehow hits its MOQ of 100 but the base set doesn't reach 300? I wouldn't really want an add-on pack without the base set.
