It was an extra gift from one of the minipack buys. But I haven't seen that many people willing to part with theirs.

Does anyone have a color pack they're willing to transfer? I actually transferred mine away because I didn't know it had a R3 control. I'm specifically interested in the 1.5 backspace and the R3 control. (Escape and Joker too but I figure that might be harder to get if anyone is willing to pat with just part of their pack).

The control key makes sense since it is probably the most common capslock remap.

I use it on all my boards, KUL, CODE, noppoo and poker2 can make this change with dip-switches.
Fn also good remap for caps, found for myself that left side of the palm is very good for pressing control key in left corner of the keyboard (and other left hand fingers can easily access buttons for nix combos), it's like a 6th finger! Just try and give the time  to evolution, and maybe next generations of programmers will be with six fingers, who knows :)

(Attachment Link)

Wow, I just tried using my palm for left control and surprisingly it seems to be working pretty well.
Pressing left control with my pinkie has always been my least favourite stretch as half the hand leaves the normal position.

Thanks  :thumb:

You pretty much sold all 14 of Binge's code keys.  I thought about buying one, then thought I didn't need one, then thought oh the heck why not and they were all gone.  :))

Anyone have a Color Pack order they're interested in offloading that I can take over?

I'll have a couple people coming around to help out over this weekend. Hoping we can crush through a good amount of the sorting of full sets. I have finished sorting out colorpacks so those that only ordered those and/or spacebars may have orders shipping out pretty soon.

1.75 Control is a fulltouch key with a centered stem so it will fit in the caps lock position on most keyboards like Filco, Ducky, Leopold, etc.

Random question:

Which backlit LED color would fit this set best?

I'm talking about Dolch, with color pack keys, and CMYK/CMYW modifiers, something like this:

Would red be too distracting for the CMYW modifiers and color keycaps?
Red:

This is highly subjective and personal, but I'm always curious to hear how people like to design things :D

I'm a firm believer in not using backlighting unless you have transparent legends.

...but if you have to do it I say go with cyan or white  :p

It does seem that Red LEDs would clash with the colours too much.

This is another interesting one, it's a KMAC Red plate, with White LEDs. The combination gives it a pink/purpleish hue.

How does this one feel? :D

white or cyan.

backlights need to match the legends if you don't want an obvious distracting clashing color.

White is great as it is an extremely neutral and understated colour that can be a bit flashy as well.
White will work with practically any keycaps and still add a nice effect.

I thought Charred orange is orange on black without the dark grey alphas. Please correct me if I'm wrong!
Also, I'm really interested in picking up GMK/Cherry CMYK and CMYW sets for this incoming dolch set. Please let me know where you get them? I missed Ivan's buy and I regret it so much.

SkiData is orange on charcoal grey, the same colour as the modifiers of Dolch.

(Overexposed shot btw. But they are definitely not black.)

I was in the original GBs of both. But CMYW ran into some delays when Dubs had some personal problems.
Originative is supposed to do a less comprehensive version of CMYW but those are in pre-order stages as well.

EDIT:

I'd say it's not a bad look. Just not as striking as Dolch would be.
