WTS: CLEARING OUT SALE.
« on: Wed, 28 May 2014, 18:16:15 »
WTS:

http://www.reddit.com/r/mechmarket/comments/2o0n6a/wts_clearing_out_sale_woot/

Sorry if this is against the rules, I'll repost it, but I spent like an hour on that damn post so I don't want to format everything again.

Sold:
More
GMK CMYW

$55 shipped CONUS, or $50+shipping/PP fees international
[for reference, http://www.originativeco.com/collections/keysets/products/gmk-cmyw-pre-order this is the keyset. $50 + shipping from Originative]
Condition is brand new, never been used before.

Thick PBT (Cherry profile Cherry dyesub) RGB mods + yellow dyesub Cherry window keys

$35 shipped CONUS

Poker 2 Charcoal PBT keycaps/RGB mods and original case

Looking for $25 + Shipping OBO

Black printed HHKB 2. Silenced with dental band mod. Looking for $240 shipped CONUS OBO. Lightly used (about a month). Does not come with cable (I did not get the cable with it unfortunately :(. If you really want one, I can throw in a Poker 2 mini usb cable). Comes with original box though. Pictured in the Poker 2 photo above for proof, if you want a nicer picture, I can upload one later.
OR WTT for a blank white HHKB 2.

SP grab bag contents. I am including all of the DSA, SA, and SS profile keys as I only like DCS style keys, and all the random keys that are not MX (I think there are some Alps keys?) Looking for $35 OBO.

Pics here:

More

DSA keycaps:

Includes a stepped caps lock and quite a few windowed keys. Examples of windowed keys in below picture, most are like the one on the far right. Mostly blanks or doubleshots. Included is this funny looking hand keycap - it looks familiar, but I'm not sure what it exactly is.

SA and SS profile keycaps:

More because they didn't fit in one ziplock bag:

There are a few transparent keys, about 5 or 6 if my memory serves me correctly (haven't touched these in a long time) two examples below:

Clear top with red transparent sides:

Other random keycaps that aren't MX or their stems aren't compatible with most MX boards:

Lightly used Ducky Shine 3 keycap set (includes red WASD and both spacebars) - $30
(used by original owner when he tried out the keyboard and didn't like it, and then my friend tried it out for a few days. Once I got the keyboard, immediately changed it to TaiHao keycaps)
More

Poker II with blank RGB modifiers, MX blues, PBT keycaps - 90+shipping OBO. Price negotiable, PM me with offers please :)
More

Temporarily hidden until I sort my crap out [most still for sale, more will be added]:
More

RGB thick PBT dyesub modifiers, 1x yellow cherry PBT dyesub keycap, and 7x thick PBT spacebar - $40
More

White Keycool 84 MX Blacks. Includes cable, but no Keycaps - $55 (some dirty spots shown)
More

Techkeys business card with heavy Red switches (clear springs so between Red and Black weight) and blue LEDs - $15. Keycaps not included
More

Inverse Red Alert TaiHao keycap set - $22. Will not sell TKL without numpad, but will sell numpad set without TKL. If just numpad, the numpad will be $5 [PENDING]
More

TaiHao red and white numpad set - $5 - great for if you just purchased a ghpad from taobao.
More

Keycaps from grab bag haggle a lot. i may or may not be willing to sell these in bulk at quite a discounted price... hint hint wink wink. Don't have much use for these.

Assorted doubleshots - $1 each. (the one with side printing is pad printed though I believe)
More

Blanks - $2 each.
More

Assorted keycaps - $3 each. (All R4 except the glow in the dark one)
More

The three yellow keycaps are kind of "jelly" like - slightly translucent and edges not as sharp as most keycaps. I included closer photos of this one and the regular yellow keycap to show the differences:

Edge sharpness:

not translucent (regular one):

translucent:

Forgot to include this with the last batch - PBT OEM profile R4 yin yang keycap - $3. From banggood, never even opened from original packaging.

If anyone has switch tools by the Beast that they would be willing to part with, PM me pls :) I'm planning on opening a few hundred switches to swap springs and build various keyboards and doing all of those without some sort of tool sounds very tedious...

Ideally looking for something under $20... if worst comes to worst and there are none for sale I'll just have to make my own out of binder clips  :(

The binder-clip tool is actually really good. Some say it's better than the Beast tools. Try to make the binder clip one before buying the Beast tools.

I prefer it when it's properly made.  And it's dirt cheap.

Can anyone point me in the direction of list of equipment I will need to properly make one? I searched "binder clip" on GH but I couldn't seem to find any tutorial on how to make one.

bump. Anyone seen any springs for sale? Not bent upon 62g exactly, something from red to blue spring weight range is fine.

WTB:

  • Any springs with weight from red switch to blue switch range (ideally 62g)
  • Aluminum TKL case (KMAC2, 356 TKL board, NOT exposed switch like Gon's though) - will buy with accompanying PCB if needed (if PCB not supplied, preferably a case that is compatible with Phantom), and will buy as a whole set. Important thing is that it is unassembled and new (or like new).
  • Thick korean dyesubs, beige or white keycaps (don't like the blue ones IMSTO currently has one his website).

The stuff you're after can hardly be considered as junk, per your signature  :p

Nobody on GH has 356 TKL boards, aside from a few. Those few will never let go of them for a reasonable amount of money.

They're just too limited. Even on the Korean communities they were sold to they're almost impossible to get. Nevermind here on GH.

Huh. Didn't realize that. Anywhere else I can read more about customs in general? (PM me perhaps to not derail thread too much? Don't wanna piss off any mods.)

Still looking and very tempted, but that's a bit beyond my budget and not completely to my liking aesthetically (a tad bulky, but sexy nonetheless).
Thanks for the heads up though, and GLWS!

With how the topic was in all caps I was expecting this to be a joke about how your caps lock broke and you have to type in all caps now while searching for a replacement. Maybe that was a secondary intention... :D Sorry I have no actual contribution to your quest, just found it funny.
