I know it's shorter profile than OEM but not 100% certain if cherry profile.  The second spacebar is probably because almost every Leopold model has different stem spaces and probably ran out of room on the first.

Looks pretty close to Cherry but not 100% as seen in these photo. I decided to try them out and grabbed a blank set. I suppose the other spacebar is for the older fullsize models as I recall they had a slightly different stem spacing for no reason.

I bought a set for myself.  They will be going on a MX Black KUL when it becomes available.

Oh yeah, it has normal stems in the spacebar... if only Leopold would quit being retarded and use that on the stabilizer itself.

Those are my pics Did you ever get around to asking GMK about the universal spacebar option? Seemed like it was very much possible but there was no followup in your thread

It's an amazing keyset, I bought a set from another board. Quality is great, thick like GMK.

Yes, they are compatible with every standard board like Filco or Ducky.

I would guess they would include both but maybe not the top printed Caps, though I'm sure that's not very re-assuring

got the keys today. Set includes the 2/3 caps lock keys I posted earlier. The top printed caps lock key is not included.

Also there are 2 6.25 spacebars, one is 6 stem (universal) and the other is 3 stem (660m spacing, not standard)

Nothing else really notable about the set that can't be seen from the eBay listing.

What's your first impression of the keys?

Amazing! I already had a set since I owned the FC750r but really wanted another.

Each of the keys are 1.5mm thick, shift keys, enter, spacebar. Quality is unmatched, the keys all have nice clean square edges, not rounded.

I'm on mobile though I have posted some gallery links of pics.

Profile height is about identical to Cherry keys, difference being the shape (squared edges) and if most GMK sets are similarity produced to the 'authentic cherry keys' on elitekeyboards.com than I would say they are better made than GMK's in that each key is 1.5mm thick, whereas with GMK only the the 1u keys are 1.5mm, the others (alt, enter keys) were noticeably thinner (1.1-1.3).

Texture is really smooth but not slick like ABS.

Great value IMO, as mentioned earlier I was thinking of writing a review for the Leopold stating 'buy this board, if only for the keyset!'

I am also curious as they are freakishly close to the real deal. They have what to me is Cherry profiles most notable feature, the gradual radii which approaches a sharp edge at the bottom corners instead of constant radii. Mostly posting to keep tabs of this thread and if people end up finding a manufacturer of PBT Cherry profile keys.

Correction

The kit only includes two caps lock keys. The stepped key and the non-stepped key with the window (both with front printed legends). The one that has caps lock printed on top is not included and is only available as an extra if you own the Leopold FC750r

The stepped key was in a tiny bag with an additional shift key, which at first glance I thought was 2 caps lock keys

So I messaged widebasket, the person selling the caps, to see if I could any information about who produces the keys. I got this response:

Hello,
Thank you for your purchase and inquiry.
The Leopold company is residing in South Korea, and it is famous for their keyboards.
The brand is "Leopold".
They are produced in three different assembly locations depending on the models.
le.The models FC660M and FC210TP are produced (assembled) in South Korea, FC750R and FC600R are done in Taiwan, and the models FC660C and FC300R are assembled in China.
This KEYCAP is produced in Taiwan factory.
As if iPhone is produced in China, but the Apple Company is in the USA.
All the patents, designs, technologies, and the rights are owned by The Leopold Company.

The biggest thing is that I doubt Leopold is making the keycap themselves, but outsourcing it to some other plastics company somewhere... the big trick is getting Leopold to tell us who... then trick 2 is to find out if those molds are exclusive to Leopold and if they will take custom orders for them if not.

Leopold have probably bought rights of some sort and we need to ask them for permission either way, might was well put it in a way so that we don't appear to want to bypass them or leave them out of the supply chain. They might be more willing to help if they see potential profits or if they can get some benefit from it.
