samwisekoi is running nuclear data in SA, I don't want to collide with that, so I'll wait till nuclear is finished.

ditto on the wallet recovery.

matt3o, you mentioned that you "made a big mistake adding 2 modifier options".  what did you mean by that and what would you change for the SA run?

The modifier orders were split between the midnight and twilight options.  It's possible that, with only one modifier option, the modifier would have been more likely to hit 50 orders, which would have triggered a price break (I think it was around $20), which in turn may have attracted even more customers to the buy.

SA won't have twilight mods I guess... but it will depend on how I like the midnight dsc twilights :D

SP should really implement a similar GB system like Massdrop where buyers can have a 'Commit' choice
where their 'purchase' counts towards tipping tiers, but are only forced to buy the product once the
product has actually tipped.

It really helps to garner earlier interest from these 'last-minute-type' buyers. The earlier a product tips, the greater
the chance of earning higher tiers.

It also gives a sort of interest check during the actual GB and many buyers are given a nice safety net to see
the status of buying progression for cheaper prices.

Yeah, a "commit to buy" system would have helped so much with this GB!

I still don't understand these last minute buyers. Matt3o, me and a couple of others mentioned countless times that it doesn't make any sense at all to wait with an order.

By waiting they didn't save a single cent, but actually endangered the succes of this GB...

I was one of the last minute orders.   It was not because I wanted save a few dollars but because this set would be useless to me without a Tsangan kit.  Until the last minute when Matt3o talked SP into producing the entire set regardless the MOQ, both Tsangans had like 5 orders.  I wasn't going to put it my order because it was pretty obvious Tsangans weren't getting made at that point.  I didn't wanna get stuck with just the base + mod.

Thankfully, Matt3o convinced SP to produce everything so I bit the bullet and placed my order.  It was very expensive especially for a SP made set, but  I hope it's worth it.

The only two keys that I would really like from the twilight mods is the Esc and Enter to give the set a bit of highlight.
(Just adding my $0.02)

Really sad i had to skip this even though i originally said i would join it. Other group buys i signed up before this one started drained my funds and even though this did make MOQ it was still rather expensive if i wanted to put it on an odd layout. The same feeling happened with Toxic i had to skip because of lack of funds until the next month.  :'(

Congrats though to those who got in on this :)

I grabbed extra alphas/mods to reinvigorate the GB, but couldn't afford to get more additional mods/numpad.  Will have extras for both twilight and midnight variants

Same for me.   Even though I voted for DSA if the sale would have lasted until the end of the month I would have definitely ordered a set.

good news and bad news.

good news is that the set is gorgeous

bad news is that shipping has been postponed to next week to fix some small glitches.

another good news is that maybe it will be possible to buy this set from the keystore (but expect no better pricing)
