Which is exactly why it's on my list - I am a bit out of practice (by a year or two) but it's not such a chore as it is a relaxing way to improve technique and strength. A lot of the time I spent on the water I could have just as easily enjoyed being on the erg for a 20-minute interval set.

Yep.  Totally understand.  Unfortunately, I haven't rowed in probably 5 years ( ), but back when I was rowing regularly I didn't mind the erg at all, unless it was a 6k day.

Haha in the city I can count the number of snakes I've seen on my fingers over my lifetime. Even then they're usually nothing to worry about, just don't aggravate them and you'll be fine. Crocs are only found up north in my state and no-one has died from a spider bite in Australia since 1977!

I'd be more scared of the bears and **** found in most other countries that the stuff in my backyard but I guess I'm just used to it.
