Although "pcb mounted" stab often comes with a bent wire, you need a straight wire if you're using it with a plate.

People who bought x7 or x6.2 pcb mounted stabs to use for their custom builds could have this problem.
They'll most likely have to bend their own wires due to vast majority of custom keyboards having pcb stab + plate combo.

I've ordered some plate mounted stabs from GWERkeys a few weeks ago and they came with the same "wrong" wire with the bent in it. I think this is the wrong wire, as it can not be used with a plate. To use it I had to bend it straight, rebend one of the hooks and shorten it a little bit.

I used a bent wire once. I didn't go through all the trouble Nuum did though. All I did was essentially level the bend with the legs.

They are, it's just that custom boards use custom stabs.

Not trying to cause more static but what does this mean for the GH60 orders that the Cherry plate stabs wont fit into the plates? Is there going to be someone making wires for those that I could sweet-talk into making some wires for me?

The plate ones have straight wire, only the PCB mount has the bent one. And this is only for the 6.25 the 7u has only straight wire.

Due to the issue with proper operation with the bent wire on the 6.25 plate mount. Those of you who ordered them that hasn't been sent out yet order will be delayed until some replacement straight 6.25 wires arrive to me in about 3 weeks. Those that already had the order sent out I will be happy to send again for cost of postage.

If my order was not sent yet, can you send it otherwise? I have an extra 6.25 wire and I'm just gonna use the 7x anyway.

Unless you had novelty dyesub keycap, your stabs order not send yet. I stopped sending them after the problem with the plate 6.25 was brought up until I had gotten something worked out to deal with it. Those order that aren't effected should be send out this week.

This means that I wont be getting mine until 3 weeks from now if mine is affected (I'm not sure and im too lazy to check what exactly I ordered) ^_^. I'm not that worried since this just means that I will actually be getting the right wire to come with my stabs and I still haven't really ordered my key switches from MK.com that I need in order ot finally assemble my duck viper and eagles.

Yes the Plate 2.x and 7 are fine as are all the PCB mount. Only plate 6.25 has issue. If you didn't order plate 6.25 or don't care about the problem and tell me so I will be shipping your orders this week.

I just asked this question earlier. I was told that the only orders that had already shipped are the ones which contained some novelty keycaps.

Some of you international that ordered PCB may receive email from me request for additional shipping. This will mostly apply to those that ordered more than 1 as it seems to be a more significant price difference. I'm not sure if the prices went up on shipping or if I simply grossly underestimated the weight of those PCB but don't be surprised by this. Sorry for any inconvenience but I simply can't afford to cover the difference.
If you feel it's simply not worth it, I can see about refund/transfer PCB to another buyer.

All of the PCB mount stabilizers sold in this group buy are the screw type. Is there a reason you don't want to use them?

Probably a little longer. You need to factor in sorting time as well. Ivan is reliable though and it will get done.
