can't create new classified

Hey guys, I'm a new member and I wanted to sell my new FC660 leopold but I can't create a new post in classifieds. Can I just put my product info, price etc. in an existing post about the same keyboard?

In the classifieds section, the rules are stickied at the top (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=56284.0) You must be a member for 2 months and have 25 posts before you can create a new thread in the classifieds. This is to encourage interaction and being a part of the community prior to accessing the classifieds.

Just curious: was it lowered to 25 posts instead of 50 or 60? I remember when i had 50 posts i thought like yeah, now i can create a WTB-any-BS-clack-thread :)

Yeah, when I started it was just 60 but then it got changed to 25 and 2 months

I've informed the admins about your case.  I think it has to do with how the 2 months and 25 posts rule was implemented.  I'll PM you when I get an update on this.
