Jamaal was my 1st round as well :'( I think my lack of confidence in him will turn around and bite me in the ass...

We shall see who prospers: Stick to your guns vs the chop shop
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

I'm not chopping this year, last year I traded Matt Forte at week 4 after poor showings and it killed me the rest of the year.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Yeah, that's why I won't drop Brady. I'm happy with my predicted points right now, I should be alright leaving it until bye weeks barring any injuries *touch wood*

I have Brady in my home league, he's a great pick for later rounds of the draft. Not going to put up crazy numbers but he's consistent enough.

Yeah, that is crazy.

I hope the 49ers do well this season, as my running game depends on Gore and Hyde. I'll need to do some more trading when their bye week comes around. I stacked receivers on my team.

Dude hyde was looking solid last game.

I hate that kick off TDs are defense points.  Just watched one of my RBs score 6 pts for bueller's defense.

They should have locked when the first game kicked off thursday.  (I checked before I said anything, too)

I changed my line-up this morning.

If the player in that position hasn't played yet and you have another free player, changes can be made up until game-time. For example, I have both Reggie Wayne and Jeremy Maclin available to me for tomorrow night in a WR slot.

I've made some seriously bad choices. I think Ryan Tannehill is going to be a better choice over Tom Brady based on the next few games and how many points Tannehill has scored whilst only scoring 10 points in the game. Not that I've watched it.

My bench has 15 points i could have had instead of the ****ty 3 points I got from Kendall Wright. Might have a chance of beating you this week Bueller :D

Oh, and I don't suppose anyone has the Redskins defence do they? :P

That doesn't make a damn lick of sense.  How do running backs running kick offs for TDs and defense players playing tight end count as def points?

Also, that TD should have gone to my RB, just sayin.

I might end up catching boost if this "just let Foster run it" offense keeps going.

For the RB, he's playing on the defensive side, returners can be the RBs, but then they could be people who only appear on special teams, so by default they will all be "defensive" players. As for the player from the defense on the offence, I'm guessing because he doesn't appear as a selectable player in the active fantasy roster, he won't get any points for himself. He would be down on the defence's lineup, therefore only get points for the defence.

What the heck?  Did Arian Foster get tackled for -46 yards?

The 46 yd run that should have been a touchdown just completely disappeared, even though he was ruled down at the goal line..

EDIT: And they're back.

Yeah. They added 46, then took them away when the play was reviewed, and then gave them back w/o a TD.

So, the week 2 matchups have come to an end.

After a great start, I was 25 points ahead of bueller by 4pm. Unfortunately, the Seahawks then played, and the Legion of Boom proceeded to suck serious ass and gave up 30 points to Phillip "Tantrum" Rivers and Antonio Gates. Green Bay's furious comeback against the New York Jets (including an 80 yard TD catch from Jordi Nelson) meant that I was beaten soundly by the end of Sunday night.

Boost started off well against Absyrd's ALPSholes and never slowed down. DeMarco Murray gained a total of 173 yards both in the air and on the ground, as well as a TD, with Alfred Morris rushing for two more for the Redskins. While the Seahawks didn't have a great day, Marshawn Lynch still managed to get some points for Boost, getting 73 combined yards and a TD. Three TDs from both Peyton Manning and Brandon Marshall, as well as 9 points from the 41 year old Adam Vinateri couldn't save absyrd from falling 30 points behind by the end of Monday, and guaranteeing Boost's place at the top of the league for another week.

TJcaustin has moved up into second after a 30 point victory against now bottom of the league jdcarpe. JD was no match as five of TJ's selections made over 14 points, Arian Foster being the biggest highlight with 150 yards and a TD to his name. Rob Gronkowsi, who has just come back from major knee surgery, only had 32 rushing yards from JD's TE position, despite playing 28 snaps for the Patriots. His Patriot woes continued, as his benched Pats defence scored 24 points, with 6 sacks and 4 INTs, including a punt block, returned for a TD. Riley Cooper and Carlos Hyde (in for Adrian Peterson) had poor games, only scoring 1.3 points between the two of them, rounding off a miserable week for Carpe Victoriam.

Hoff had a good start too, with Le'Veon Bell putting up a 100 yard game on Thursday night against the Ravens. Sunday started with both teams pulling in the points, until RG3 came off the field injured against the Jags. Salt was rubbed into the wounds even more as Phillip Rivers had a great game netting over 25 points, unfortunately from the comfort of pr0ximity's bench. With no QB, and zero points from one of his starting RBs, pr0ximity started lagging behind as Giovanni Bernard posted almost 170 yards for the Bengals and Hoff. Pr0ximity only ended up 13 points behind however, thanks to a great display by LeSean McCoy in the Eagles win over the Colts, bringing him up off the bottom of the table.  Hoff remains in 7th.

Our final matchup was our only "home" win of the week, with Signature bagging his first win of the season. HWood started off well, with Aaron Rodgers throwing for almost 350 yards and 3 TDs, while Zac Stacy managed to grab 11 points, even if he didn't keep his hands on the football all day... With DeSean Jackson going off injured in the 1st quarter for the Redskins, and Dwayne Allen not putting up any points against the Eagles, Hwood's other notable scorers were on his bench, with Randall Cobb putting 18.5 points on the board. Even Sunday night's poor show by the 49ers defence couldn't stop Signature, with Nick Foles having a good performance against the Colts, and Superman Jimmy Graham putting 23.8 points up. Darren Sproles also managed the same figure, unfortunately on Signature's bench, maybe a roster move for this week ;) This win meant Signature leapfrogged Hwood in fifth, and up into fourth place, as the highest scoring team with a 1-1 record.

Cool write-up.

Do you know how signature and hwood are ahead of Hoff and I in the standings despite having less Points For? Is that just because of waiver #? So odd.

Thanks :)

I'm not too sure, I'm looking at the settings and I can't seem to find why they would be higher. Only thing I can think of is head to head ratings, but you haven't all played each other, so I don't know =/

It could be to do with waivers, as they only reset on a Tuesday. Or points for/against maybe. Signature has a better points difference than you both, no idea about Hwood though.

Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

AP is now officially suspended. He won't take part in games until further notice

EDIT: Jonathan Dwyer, RB for the Cardinals, is now also suspended pending assault charges. (Not that anyone has him in their team.) This is a seriously busy week.

I'm also figuring out what I can add to the prize pool, I'll probably have a keyboard or a Cherry set up for grabs but I'm waiting till a couple or purchases come in before I decide.
Last night's game was a good one, Matty Ice was back on his game and set a Falcons franchise record for passer rating. The Bucs looked horrible out there, they need to get their QB situation sorted asap.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.
