Now you can have your own personal copy of Windows 3.1 in the box, just like the one featured in my lovely avatar!

$47 shipped?

Isn't that at least twice the going rate?
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

If it was a good deal, then I would've bought it already.

I won't use this crap even if you paid me $4700.

You should really be buying 3.11 in this day and age.

that's the kind of thing someone with 10000 unsold 3.1s in stock should be saying.  :thumb:

awesome vintage software! be cool! be retro! nostalgic for the good old days of the computing past! or whatever sounds believeable.

That is something only a true collector, or someone who is mentally insane, would buy.

Is there even a single person on geekhack (outside MicrosoftWindows, of course) who still runs a 3.1? Unless you're so geeky that you're still into tetris and worms?

My question to you is why do you appear to be so offended by this? And if you actually are, then why are you posting here?

Hey, what's wrong with worms? I still play that with my kids. They love it. Granted it's not the original, but it's a later revision of the game on the Playstation 3. It's still really fun :)

There are people who run all manner of vintage software using VMWare. Why? There are some older applications that simply won't run under latter OS's. And personally, what people are into is their business.

I think playing tetris on a 486 with Win 3.1 is the problem. Not tetris in general.

It's only a problem if you don't have a copy of Windows 3.1.
