Plastic Feet Underneath the Mouse, What are they Called?

I bought a mouse that grinds and drags on the table.  Its tiny little mouse feet are too small or too shallow or just made from the wrong material or the bottom of the mouse is shaped a bit wrong so its belly drags.  I donno which.

Can I buy some new thingamajigs to glue under my mouse and save it from a life of living in the closet and never having anyone to play with?

What are the slippery plastic foot slider thingies made out of ?  POM?  Teflon?  Other?

I think they are called "mouse skates".

most aftermarket better quality ones are made from teflon, and they tend to be called skates as epzy says. or simply mouse feet.
hyperglide, puretrak and corepad make a lot of these for different mice.

Sounds like you need a mouse pad.

Sounds like you need a mouse pad.

I always use mousepads.  I bought a bunch of mice and this one mouse, the "Manhattan Mouse" is defective.

One of mine invariably falls off, so I take the other one off (most of my mouses seem to have two small ones either side, then a long curved one at the other end).

I tried taking all 3 off, but the mouse completely stopped working - I guess it was too close to the desk surface or something?

Some mice are more sensitive to others in change of distance of the sensor to the mousepad =(

Given my obsession with my IE 3.0, along with having spare mice, I also bought a 40-pack of extra mouse skates for them as well. And as you can see by the link above, there are many for different mice.
