What's your source on the kit kats?  If it's reasonable, do you think you could consider being the kit kat proxy for this buy?
Just a supermarket a block or two away from my office. They always have lots of Japanese snacks. I think those were the only 2 special kit kats though. 1 bag cost about $6.3CAD after tax. (And the Canadian dollar is dropping like nuts :'()

Does USA have smarties? It's like a Canadian version of M&Ms, but with a slightly harder and (sweeter?) shell. Also doesn't have a logo printed on them.  :p

The green tea kit kat is $5.99 here in Toronto but I had to bus for 30 minutes. Was it worth it? Yes!

My girlfriend just bought some BlackMlik (Australian clothing) and she got sent Tim Tams.

THESE THINGS ARE GOOD

I suggest we get Tim Tams!

I'm not sure the difficulty of this or interest but just thought id throw it out there if it wasnt out there already.

I'm interested in the less common flavors like Salted Caramel and Raspberry :p

I'm not a huge chocolate fan sadly (wasn't allowed to eat chocolate as a kid) but I'm planning on trying to original flavor as soon as I can get to a World Market :)

For now I only have those two flavors :(

You sure you can't get Tim Tams in the USA? We get them imported here in Canada. I missed them so much from when I was a kid back in NZ, so I was super happy to find them here!

Just an FYI regarding the status of this: I'm planning to make a test purchase of some Kit Kats from Japan in the coming few weeks, to see how shipping prices turn out.  After that, I will eat them.  And then make some decisions regarding this GB.  I would really like to kick it off by early 2015.

As far as I know, World Market is the only store here that sells them. They only have these to choose from:

Pepperidge Farm apparently sold them during special months (Ovtober to March according to wiki) and were sold at normal grocerie stores but I'm not sure if that is true as of today. People said they are different from the original anyway so I'm not interested.

I'll just have to pick them up when I can or get someone to ship some over from Canada or Australia :P
