[Mini GB] Cherry Keypad (G80-3700) $37 shipped CONUS (CLOSED)
« on: Fri, 08 August 2014, 13:47:17 »
All orders shipped besides bunnylake which will ship soonish. I believe everyone CONUS (except the 2 shipped today) has received their number pads and the other internationals are on the way. (8-28-14)

Right now I'm going with $37 (conus orders) shipped USPS Priority (that's shipping the original box in a bubble mailer USPS Priority) including paypal fee.

For those who aren't familiar with the G80-3700 this you can read up on it here http://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_G80-3700

Shipping

For CONUS orders will be shipped USPS Priority.

What works best for me is shipping these in the original box inside a large bubble mailer. IF you have an issues with this please PM me.

International shipping will be priced individually and we can work that out, I have shipped all around the world and not had any issues.

Disclaimers

This is from an ebay seller who seems to be on the up and up and is willing to work with us but it is ebay so YMMV.

One thing I want to point out is I am not sure if these support mode 4 programming if that is what you are after all I can say is YMMV.

My responsibility ends when I ship it, I can't control what USPS does.

I'm attempting to do this as cheaply as possible so everyone gets a good deal but I'm also trying to make sure I cover the expenses and any unexpected costs.

I'd go in on this for 1 keypad if someone was interested in doing a buy for all 5 in order to get the discount.

If I'm reading it right, only 5 are needed for the best discount. That would work out to $30/ea plus 2nd shipping ($10-ish?)

I'd take one at that cost, sure. Does anybody know what switch they used? Haven't hit up any wikis yet ...

To add to that they are also pcb mount so all easily swappable minus the num lock which should have an LED.

I'd be down for another for $30.

Seller seems to imply that he wants to do it off ebay to save on fees for larger order negotiation.

~~~I actually happened to have bought one from the seller earlier last week after I offered him $40 when he was asking for $75 shipped. It is arriving today by UPS if anybody wants pics and deets on what is received.
That throws up a bunch of red flags for me. Off eBay transactions for listings you see on the site are a big no-no.
I asked about getting 10 units, seller told me to make an offer and he would setup an auction just for it.
Also seller is going to double check his stock to make sure all items are the same.
I guess if people are interested we can work something out and I can distribute...
I ordered two of these from the seller last week.  At that time he had "or best offer".
The first one he sent me had a tiny mark under the Esc key.  So when I told him he sent me two more and told me to keep the first one.
He apparently has a ton of them. So he might eventually put the "or best offer" option back up.
Here is the one I got from Feng
And here is the size I'm looking for
The seller has the 5 listed (was 6 someone bought one :facepalm:) and he says he thinks he has more but can't check until Monday.
One thing I want to point out is I am not sure if these support mode 4 programming if that is what you are after all I can say is YMMV.
If those who already received one can weight in I would appreciate it but that still won't guarantee anything about the remaining stock.
For those who aren't familiar with this you can read up on it here http://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_G80-3700
Hey!
I've been a lurker for a few weeks, but I guess it's my time to be useful!
I actually bought one of these from this guy about two weeks ago, in his last ebay auction. They support Mode 4.
He actually has the model number on the headline wrong, but the model number in the photo correct. These are actually the G80-3700HQAUS-0 models, and he's missing the Q, and that's the difference between mode 4 and not mode 4.
Bonus: Pic!
All of the ones I got are all white keyed versions.  I didn't even know he had the two toned.
I'd be in for a G80-3700HQAUS /06 or G80-3700HQAUS-0 /02, G80-3700HQAUS /06 being preferred
I'll catch up the OP with information from PM's and start invoicing tomorrow.
I'm really hoping to hear the seller has more units tomorrow.
Thanks for the quick responses to those who have PM'd me so far.
I'm just going to take the caps off, so I'll go with an all-white one.
Also, have we talked to the ebay guy about if he would drop ship?
I sent you a PM earlier if you could reply that'd be great.
And the only reason these are cheaper than buying them from the ebay seller directly is because he can rid himself of multiples of them at once so he isn't interested in giving us a discount if sending them all out individually.
That defeats the purpose of a group buy.
