I like buckling spring too, but I want to know how you intend to solve the logistical problems of manufacturing a new buckling spring board.

MX switches, it's just a matter of placing an order and waiting.  Buckling springs would be basically starting from scratch.

Buckling Springs. No contest. If you can pull it off, you'll see a good number of sales considering the only new option for them is Unicomp.

I'll admit I haven't used MX Greens, but I don't like how Blues feel and making them heavier wouldn't help much. Cherry clicky just feels cheap.

I have both already, and I don't understand how people could want to GAME on a B/S keyboard.

My Model M is my daily driver, but I always pull out another keyboard to game.  Typically it is a Ducky 108 with MX Greens.

Also, patents?

I love buckling springs and use them almost exclusively, but I don't game. My understanding is that they are not that great for gaming, and, although my Fs are NKRO, the Ms aren't.

There are a lot of people who would love to see a new modern BS keyboard hit the market, but probably not gamers.

I got my son a Filco TKL with black Cherries and strategically-placed O-rings (to cut travel distance and speed up reset time) on about a dozen specific keys, and he thinks he is in gaming heaven.

I recommend that you look towards something resembling "jailhouse greens" to really get gamers going.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

BUCKLING SPRING keyboard is it good for gaming?

Not really, but you can do fine with any switch for gaming. The biggest issue is having the right layout (usually it's a small layout) and making sure that the switches don't make your fingers tired.

Both.  With a slight preference for BS.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Capacitive Buckling Spring, but only for typing, NOT FOR GAMING. I don't like switches with hysteresis (different actuation and reset points) for gaming (MX Blues, Greens, Whites and Buckling Spring).

i am developing a new gaming keyboard...

Wait a second, you realize that it's actually impossible to build a BS keyboard from scratch, right?

It's not impossible, just not easy. You need to make a plate (molded from plastic including slider tubes or from metal with molded plastic slider tubes that can be fitted) and PCB and design the PCB and sensors very well so it can sense correctly. Or you can use a membrane design, with the membrane between the plate and PCB / backplate, but I think capacitive sensing is both more robust and more interesting. You can buy the springs and pivoting plates (hammers). If you want to mass produce it, you'll probably have to buy stuff from Unicomp in bulk.

If I were making a gaming keyboard I would offer 2 versions, one with MX Clears and one with MX Blacks. I may even offer a few "customised" versions with swapped springs (Ghost Blacks and Panda Clears).
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

what most gamers prefer to type on.

Usually the word "type" refers to writing such as documents, coding, etc.

It is generally understood that typers and gamers have very different needs and expectations.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
