I made a couple a while back. I should probably rerecord them with my Blue Yeti.

different tah poo ray sounds

shot some short sound comparisons of my favorite 3 topre boards
Fc660c - stock
HHKB pro II - dental banded
HHKB type-s - stock

for ****s and giggles

apparently bottoming out is to much for my tripod to handle so enjoy some special earthquake effects throughout the video

I like the look and sound of your keyboard. What kind of switches does it have?

Nice comparison between the dental banded HHKB and the Type-S. I almost think I like how the dental banded one sounds more because it's equally quiet but doesn't have the Type-S whistle.

thanks, i as well prefer the DB version. The shorter travel distance makes me believe i would enjoy a lighter stock topre switch.  :thumb:

Dam PD look at you typing all fancy with your pinky in the air ;)
That thock is like the opposite of what my lubed HHKB sounds like, but now you have me wanting to unlube it and get a set of SA keys but that backspace sounds a little weird.

i think it has to do with the novatouch stabs on the modifiers. they arent cherry like the spacebar. more so half circles that just hold up the sides on the stems. its weird as hell i agree

Not my own, but was delighted to recently find a whole set of 30 minute recordings with different types of Cherry MX and Topre (!) switches by someone from Japan.

My favourite (30g Topre):

These are going to my work playlist.
