... you realise you have too much keyboard stuff, so you throw out a bunch of it, and still have too much keyboard stuff.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

... you have an entire drawer organizer and small Ikea filing cabinet full of stuff for keyboards and you still don't have enough room for everything.

...you could literally use a different keyboard every day for a week and a half to two weeks without any repetitions.

...the question isn't what key cap set will you use on a keyboard, but will you ever use all the key cap sets you have.

...you hoard key caps because you might use them someday, not because you have a keyboard you know you'll use them on.

When we scrapped our dishwasher, I saved the bottom tray because it makes a tidy way to store keyboards.

I was actually approached by the cops once, because I handed my friend a baggie of dried ginseng-chips on the street.

You start thinking about buying a sixth board because you have too many cap sets.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

you just get boards out and look at them. Then spend hours debating if you should swap sets on them, swap it, then swap it back.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

You buy a keyboard or keyboard accessory only to realize you already had one just like it. (Not sure I'd already posted, didn't read.)
