Strep throat is not fun. Your ears are GG everytime you swallow. Get some antibiotics and you'll be fine in 24 hours

It says antibiotics does not help cure strep throat faster, but may reduce the odds of complications..

I have a thin esophagus which means I have to chew food a lot before I can swallow it. I've had to go to the hospital in the past just to get food taken out of my food pipe.

Not being able to swallow any saliva at all is horrible (spitting every two minutes is not a good look) so you should appreciate it regardless of how much it hurts :(
