Granite Bonus Pack
« on: Thu, 11 September 2014, 12:49:00 »
I just pushed the Granite Bonus Pack. Did you miss that one key from the granite set (R1 or R2)? Fear not! It is probably in the bonus pack. You get both Text and Icon fragrances and a pack full of novelties.

This is the official GB page on PMK

Please note that you have just one week to place your order. The kits are relatively inexpensive so it's a no brainer, if you need any of them, make up your mind quickly. This way you should receive your order not long after Round 2.

Kit 1 - Bonus Pack Text

Kit 2 - Bonus Pack Icon

Kit 3 - Novelties

Kit 4 - Blue ISO Enter

Why only seven days? We might hit some better tiers if it will run longer.

so you get it together with Round 2.

If we really don't smash the tiers I'll see if we can postpone the deadline.

Can we get MD to send out a notification to participants of R2 so they don't miss it? I can't imagine how many people are going to come in a week later and complain they didn't know it was going on

Is it always like this ?  :(

Shipping costs to Europe double when I add the novelties to the mod pack. So it's nearly 10$ per set. Bit too much If you ask me.

Guess I'll just pick one between these two (mod pack or novelties).

10$ per set is way too much.

It will stay 20$ if you add more sets. But for two sets it sucks. I'll pass on the novelties this way.

Why am i getting charged shipping charges? Shouldn't this be free shipping if we are purchasing a bunch of sets from Massdrop already?

The main kits ship through MassDrop and the Bonus kits ship from SP.

Their site's always been wonky for me.  I had a hell of a time registering the first time around and then it took me three tries across two computers to actually even order the Granite packs.  I'm not surprised it's acting up for you.

I had to register an entirely new account in order to grab the bonus packs.
It was silly.

I hope so too! I'll order one for sure, but it would be more convenient for me if it reached next tier before I order!

I just saw this in Signature Plastics section and sure enough bought 4 of everything here.  Matt you sneaky devil, putting this up here and keeping so quiet about it.

Just 2 more days to go as well, if you love DSA's in PBT's then what's stopping everyone from getting these ?

Wait a minute! Elrick ordered SP dyesub caps? What the hell! Does a grumpy old man not stand to his word anymore?!

When I saw the photo it looked like it was some body's lame attempt at making key-caps in their back-yard but Yikes it's a Company's Attempt at doing very bad PBT dye-sub.

Even the cheapest CHINESE attempt at making a complete Key-set is FAR SUPERIOR to SP's.  What the HELL?

Another thing too, we also happened to have paid far more for these than any Chinese Made Sets.  I'm still waiting for my Imsto's BSP version and I suspect theirs will be far better in quality than what's currently distributed here.  Who would of thought that the Chinese now would make better quality PBT sets than the US of A.

Everyone is tip-toeing around too scared to say what every one is clearly seeing with their own eye's, like the hell I will be forced to play around with a fvcking HEAT-GUN to fix SP's mistakes.

As you can guess I'm no SP Fan-boy here when it comes to basic quality with key-caps, WHICH THEY HAVE FAILED in this attempt at making a PBT set.  Imagine (me) sinking over $396.00USD + Shipping for CRAP looking key-caps such as these.  Boy, got sucked in like a noob here.

Don't give a crap about any fan-boys opinion here, just had to type what I see here, especially losing so much money over these horrible quality key-caps that have ever come out of their factory thus far.........  Word of advice for SP just stick to ABS leave PBT alone, for the sake of future land fill sites please.

just kidding :p :p :p

Matt3o said they FIXED their earlier problems relating to distortions when it came to PBT manufacturing.  Hence I take him at his word - he's never lied to me before and I take his word as gospel when it comes to anything related to SP.

Hence why not give them a second chance to deliver fixed PBT key-sets because then we can see if Round 2 could be truly spectacular, with no distortions whatsoever  8) .

Being old means you can re-adjust your preferences due to time running out quickly, hence we don't have the luxury of waiting unlike you youngsters.

Don't forget that there's some kind of error with the shipping costs duplicating when you add a second set. Melissa confirmed this will be refunded, so there's no reason to not grab the novelties.
