The RK-9000 with reds was my first mechanical board and was my gateway to this crazy money sink of a hobby. I've since gone off the deep end and have built and modded a few custom keyboards. I now daily drive an ErgoDox with clears that's awaiting some springs for an ergo-clear spring + lube mod. Even with all that, I still occasionally break out my original RK-9000RE with a Black Petal replacement controller and it's just as good as ever.
