[WTB] US/Russian keyset. Purchased! Thank you all.
« on: Wed, 24 September 2014, 14:21:51 »
Hello,
I am looking to purchase a keyset made of preferably thick PBT with double-shot etching, or other quality etching used with a US/Russian layout.

I am using standard TKL boards, like a CM QFR, or WASDkeyboard TKL.
Anyone willing to sell such a set, or two to me is welcomed to post here, or IM me.
Thank you very much!

I have this set and I really like it:

http://www.originativeco.com/collections/keysets/products/cyrllic

And the other option is IMSTO PBT.

When I'm back home, I might have a set that I would be willing to let go of. It's an IMSTO set to the best of my knowledge. Thick PBT.

I'll be back home this weekend (09/27/2014) and will hit you up with some pictures/price.

OK, looking forward to that, but being a newbie I am confused whether IMSTO set fits my standard QFR/WASDkeyboards TKL boards?

I'm almost 99% sure I have a TKL set. It'll match the bottom row, I think. I don't have a QFR or WASD board, but I'm pretty sure they have normal spacing on the space bar and mods. Full disclosure, the space bar I have is not the original (I bought it without the space bar), but the color matches. The profile is weird, but I use the space bar flipped, so it's not noticeable.

I'll get pictures to you when I'm home and it'll make sense.  :p

I actually am aware of the Originative set, but still: I appreciate you pointing to the right direction.
I may consider the Originative set, I've heard its not bad, if won't find the IMSTO set, you are talking about.
Are you just talking about the IMSTO set, or can sell it?

I was thinking about selling my Ivan Russian set. I don't know how much to sell it for though.

I have the whole set. This pic only has the 60 percent on my poker

Cool looking set and (are those the USB cables?), man!
Even, I'm afraid, this combination of colors isn't my cup of tea.
I am not familiar with this GB. What plastic are they made of? Are they thick?

Cool combo: cables and matching caps. :)
I'm sure Russian speakers and those needed Cyrillic layout will buy this quality set from you.
Too bad your quality set definitely isn't my personal "cup of tea".
Cheers and Good luck to you, man.

I am still hoping to get a thick GMK double-shot set, or a nice thick PBT dyesub set, meanwhile I ordered this custom ABS set from wasdkeyboards.com:

Cheers, you all! ;D

GMK does thick double shot ABS and nothing else. But they are awesome and on par with or even better than most PBT caps.
Only a few manufacturers offer double shot PBT and Ivan has always sourced his PBT from other places. Your best bet right now would be Originative.
