[IC] Halloween Kit
« on: Mon, 06 October 2014, 04:11:12 »
Would there be interest for a DSA + PBT + Dye-sub kit like this?

I reckon it could go in the $15-20 range (don't know yet)

Ghost bro key...yes.  Give it to me.  I'd probably be in just because it's DSA so I can put them anywhere.

Interested.

Would be more interested if it were dye-sub DCS.
That way I could use them with more of my sets.

For some reason Halloween kits always end up being thought of very late, even if these do materialise into GB, they won't be reaching end users before new year.

I think you should also use Christmas as an excuse to make some fancy caps, then.  I love that holiday.

it seems to be quite some interest in DCS too

I can offer both but the MOQ would be pretty high so we really need a lot of interest

well, if in DSA you can put them wherever you want. DCS is also an option, but maybe the function row is a better spot for them

ok bad news, good news.

bad news is that DSA tooling is booked until next year. So we would have to wait a couple of months for a DSA kit. DCS instead would be ready before xmas.

good news is that pricing is lower than I thought, have to check shipping and taxes and I'll post the final figure.

It doesn't surprise me that DSA is all booked up.  It seems like at least once a week I see someone talking about starting a DSA set on PMK.com.

Looking forward to seeing how much this will cost in dye-sub DCS  :)

Damn was really interested in seeing this in a DSA set to Halloween-ofy a granite set. Even if it takes a year to deliver it would still be in time for next halloween and even if you switch to DCS it won't be here for halloween

unfortunately we can't dyesub SA yet, and doubleshot would be too expensive (for all 12 keys)

regarding pricing, I'm aiming at $13.13 per kit :)

Looks good -- I would buy it.

I also wouldn't say no to a Full 104 or TKL set with a gothic-y, Diabloesque font.   Maybe with Cauldrons for the Window key mods and broom or witch's hat for the menu key mod.  Perhaps adding in some glow in the dark ghosties, spiderwebs, gravestones and/or crypts.
