Hey hey!
« on: Thu, 16 October 2014, 08:30:00 »
Helo,

I am from Canary Islands, now working in Madrid (Spain). From childhood I have liked computers, circuits, etc.

I did computer science on college and now I am working as a coder.

I have done, long ago in the past, some things in trainers, have burn a pair of pcbs in the old ways (acid and later light), etc. My father have much to say here as he is a master electrician (whichever it is said in english) and I have helped him in the electric design of some layers needed for the automation of a nativity scene, creating the controller for step-by-step motors by example.

Now I want to return to do some DIY proyects, like a keyboard, home automation and the like, and so I will need to learn somethings that I did not learned in those days.

In all cases I am a bit lazy at home after all the day working... @#$#%@!$$%#!%... so this will be taken with patience and time...

Other subjects I want to learn is how is built a multilayer pcb, and about CI design...

MODIFIED: Sorry for the double post, I got an error and I retried...

Double-posting has been happening a lot recently.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
