Hello and Hi!
« on: Sun, 19 October 2014, 00:31:52 »
Hello GeekHack!

I've been a lurker for a while and decided to create an account and comment once or twice.

I've got two boards so far, but I want so many more.

Currently it's the following:
CM QFR TKL with Cherry MX Browns
Poker II with Cherry MX Clears

I had a Dell AT101W, but I just didn't like it for some reason.

I've got the biggest need to buy Penumbra off of someone. If you know anyone looking to sell theirs...please let me know.

I've ordered a few keysets and I'm excited to get more. I'm also looking to hopefully build a planck and a maybe even get a smart68.

So yeah. That's me. How's everyone doing?

Welcome to Geekhack!

A nice couple of keyboards to start with :)

As for Penumbra, just keep your eye on classifieds - you never know when one might turn up.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Thanks you! And that is the greatest tagline I've ever heard. Hahaha I'm surprised that's not the official welcome when you first visit the site. Hahaha
