people who put ISO mods on ANSI sets are not my friends

GMK has all three type. Symbols, text only and symbols with text. Symbols with text are most common on English language sets but can be found on others as well sometimes. Symbols only are most common on all other languages as I think they wanted to avoid all the localization with text. Text only can be found on some of the earliest models, terminal models, typewriters and stuff.
I like them all OK really, having variety is always best.

Looks nice. I think if you put out an IC for baby **** yellow caps from GMK you would meet moq.

i prefer the icons only for modifiers, 2nd icons with text and wouldn't really want text only.

It sounds like the majority so far are happy with the 60th anniversary layout with WoR mods and whatever extra keys ivan's dolch kit had. I'll email GMK for pricing on both red alert and it's inversion (RoW mods and WoR alphas) monday. I'll have them price including both color ~ and \| keys as well. I think I'll just run the two options instead of trying to muddle with offering separate mod packs.

I would be cautious about offering two full sets, fragmenting the buyers like that will be a killer for MOQ.

Might be worth considering offering red/white and white/red as separate alphanumerics and mods+nav sets. That way if someone wants an all red/white set they can, or if all white/red set they can... or buy one of whatever to mix/match with other existing stuff they might have. It will probably be priced slightly higher that way, but would be better to most buyers than having to buy 2 full sets to get one of those options if they want it.

Technically Ctrl is more consistent. We don't have Alternate just Alt, Esc, Pg Up, Del, etc... just saying.

I was thinking about it last night and ended up checking the numbers from round one after bueller mentioned fragmentation and while I don't think that there would be much of that, I don't think the alternative colors have the same chance to succeed as the WoR mod/RoW alphas set up. That pairing was close to 200 purchased while everything else sat around 75 - 100 so it feels like that might just end up being a distraction more than anything else.

They might be willing to run flipped colors and wave the MOQ on the 2nd run though. Since it's the same layout and same colors just opposite you might be able to get them to do it as long as one version meets the usual MOQ.

GMK does have 1.5 key for each rows, that would be fitting to have proper sculpted set on an EDOX... I offered it once in interest check and got an entire 7 people that wanted to buy it so it's possible but perhaps not feasible if there aren't enough people that want it to get 250MOQ.
I think the main issue was that the only real option for EDOX is blanks, since there is no real standard layout that everyone uses having legends becomes impossible since everyone wants different things.

Yeah, but granite was hugely popular. GMK is notorious for being much more expensive than SP, which might turn some people off of buying an ergodox kit from GMK. Plus, I don't think that there are 250 people who would actually want an ergodox kit for this set anyway. It's not usually the #1 selling part of a set.

It might not hurt to offer it, of course. You never know.
